MULTIPLE OFFERS. Bring highest and best by 5 PM 1/12/21 please. Brilliantly remodeled from the inside out, this north Ozark farm house BEAUTY is nestled on nearly 3 acres conveniently located near CC and 65, and also features four outbuildings, each with power and tons of usable space. You're going to fall in love with every detail: the crisp black, white and neutral color scheme, striking reclaimed wood details, high living room ceiling, shiplap, large open spaces, sliding barn door, crown moulding throughout, large mudroom/laundry combo, hardwood floors and huge master suite with a walk-in closet. You're also going to love the maintenance-free aspects; with newly updated plumbing, new high-efficiency electrical and a new hot water heater, this home will be safe and maintenance-free for years. The reclaimed wood in this home has origins in tobacco barns, Big Cedar Lodge, a bowling alley, and from the home's original construction in 1906. The kitchen features a reclaimed bowling alley island from Aurora, classic subway tile, open shelving, concrete countertops, soft-close drawers, large wall-pantry storage, lovely pendant lights, and a wood accent wall made from the original construction materials. The huge bedroom ceiling features a beautifully crafted box-beam ceiling, accent lighting, tons of space and a walk-in closet, while the master bath boasts a dual vanity and huge walk-in shower and even has plumbing in place to add a tub. (Seller will leave a refinished claw-foot tub for you or even install it for you if you so desire.) In the outbuildings, you'll have space for a home office, extra living area, microbrewery, teen hangout spot, storage and any number of other uses you may have. The charming milking barn was estimated to have been built in 1940, and an original stone wall frames the front of the house--the gables of which have been recently elevated with cedar shakes--and the wonderfully charming and spacious front porch.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a student with an IEP, I felt completely disregarded. They didn’t follow through with the accommodations that were asked for. They never listened to my parents and I when we asked questions or needed help. When we finally made the decision to homeschool, they refused to give us the documents needed for the new school until we told them that it was illegal for them to not give them. When we went into the office, they treated us like we were trash. I am so glad that I will never have to step foot into that environment again. I would never wish this upon anyone. They put us through too much. I was a freshman at the time and at that point for anyone in life, you’re still figuring yourself out. It’s really hard to do that when you have people treating you awfully. If you want your kid(s) to have a horrible relationship with their school/teachers, go ahead and send them to OHS. They’re great at making you feel worthless and like you don’t belong. They don’t do their jobs, not even the bare minimum. The education part of it was ok. I will say that they do have a good quality way of teaching, for regular students. The students who have learning disabilities or special needs like I do, not so much. They don’t know how to handle things like that unless they’re specifically trained for it (which they aren’t). I will also say that most people in the real world also don’t know how to handle them so I can’t say too much.My case manager from freshman year was decent for the first semester. There was a point during the end of first semester that we didn’t get along, so my mother had requested a new case manager for me. The case manager had and outburst towards me once she found out. She yelled at me, told me she was done helping me, and slammed the door. At this point I was in tears. She came back in the room about 15 minutes later, while she still had a class to teach. She apologized but she meant what she said. For the rest of that semester and the next she no longer “cared”, as if she did to begin with. I received no help or care with my IEP anymore. My mother went around the school through the doctor and requested homebound services. What I’m getting at here, is just don’t send your kids here. There are plenty of great schools around the Ozark area that are much better.Student Review7mo ago - Ozark Jr. High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child loved going to West. He knew when he was in trouble that he had to own up to his mistakes. He learned to respect the teachers and staff and students. He excelled at technology and was given the chance to grow his skills in that aspect and not be held back to others skill levels. I recommend this school to anyone moving to the area.Parent Review5y ago - Ozark Tigerpaw Early Child Center

"I used to live here. Nice place to raise kids. Friendly neighbors, nice lots. Enjoyed living here a lot. There is some really nice areas to shop and eat in this area. Plus Springfield is 20 mins away. The school system is fantastic and the school bus stopped right in front of my house."

"Ozark is conveniently located just minutes from Springfield and only 30 min. from Branson. Shopping and night life is easily accessed from this all-american small town where people still can feel safe. The schools are outstanding and there's plenty of activities for the young and young-at-heart. It has very good doctors/dentists, a nice Senior Center and enough shopping to make going to the "big city" optional. It's easy to drive in this area. The Meadowbrooke neighborhood has a mixture of retirees and young famlies."
