5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two children who have went to FES since Pre-K. My husband and I love this school. Neither him or I attended this school as children, but we are both happy we chose it for our kids. My son is extremely smart and can get antsy when he is bored. The teachers and principle realize this and always put him with a teacher who keeps him on his toes. My daughter is an interactive learner or, I would say a "busy body". She is always put with a teacher who teaches by activities and fun learning. Both of my children excell both academically and socially at FES. The average class size is 20. My son did have a tiny problem with another student bully him once. However, the assistant principal, Mrs. Shartino immediately took care of it. Now, the boy and my son are good friends. We love the school and couldn't be happier. FES, It's a great place to be!!Parent Review9y ago - Folsom Junior High School

"Don’t trust the judicial system. St.Tammany parish is all about that money honey! Property taxes are ridiculously outrageous! It seems after hurricane Katrina, a lot changed. New people, new attitudes, new accents, and covington grew into a concrete jungle. I live in the north rural part of Covington. It was a quiet town, but it seemed as if everyone knew on another or a family member etc. Parents: the schools are ridiculous now. They do not teach cursive writing in school anymore... I suggest homeschooling your children or sending them to a private school. "
