10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat Elementary School. Academics are the focus as kids are constantly challenged. Reading is very important with the school and I have seen a huge difference in my kids in their reading skills.Parent Review2y ago - Benton High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe bathroom policy is simply absurd and shows no respect for students. The bathroom policy being that teachers must ask the administration if students may go to the bathroom. Many times the administration simply ignores the teachers request leaving students stuck in class while having to relieve themselves. On top of that many of the teachers (not all) and the administration show little to no respect for the student body and students as individuals.Parent Review1y ago - Benton Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBenton Middle school doesn’t care about mental health. If you are missing assignments the World is going to end and they will lock you up in a room all day with kids who get in trouble. I don’t know why I fell for the “Benton has the best schools!” They lied. It’s a small town so obviously the ones who say it’s the best is the ones who grew up here and know everyone. The only school in Benton that is the best is Kingston Elementary. They even make plans for your child without informing you or getting your consent. I didn’t know the administration has the right to make decisions for you! Controlling much? Shady! Very shady. I would not recommend this school at all. We are military and never once had a problem at schools. Usually the schools we been to care about the student mental health or well being. Here is about school ratings to make them look good. They don’t care what it takes. Even the vice principal said on the phone….” I don’t care what your child is going through and I don’t want to know!” What kind of school is this???Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 3942 White Lake Dr.

"People walk there dogs all the time. They clean up after them. It’s a safe place to walk your dogs for sure"
- Maddiefsimmons

"Generally simple. Floods occasionally, but drains quickly after. Traffic will be frustrating no matter where you go, however, because of being surrounded by school zones, train tracks, and roads not capable of handling the growth of the population. Bossier City roads aren't great, "repairs" are laughable. City IS growing economically, which is wonderful...more options on food, shopping, and things to do. Just wish it was more spread out and not so congested. "

"Great schools! The best astound. I have taught here and lived here for 20 years. The families’ are moving towards north Bossier more and more. So much we’ve added 3 new schools in the past couple of years. "

"I have lived here in the same house in Bossier City for over 27 years. love Bossier City, but the traffic is getting horrendous. My neighborhood is unique because it is not very large and only one way in and out, so there is very little traffic. The area is very quiet."

"dogs run loose way too often. my dog was attacked in my own front yard by two escapees that were known to be aggressive. stray cats everywhere, scratching up trees, and using garden beds to potty. I don't hate cats generally, but these are just absurd."

"It’s never really to busy here, day or night. The traffic is normally light. I travel a lot and this part of town isn’t bad at all. I can say that the only thing that is bad with traffic is getting stopped by the train. The train seems to take forever. "
