5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFair experience. Child has been there since Kindergarten. Unfortunately, he's been dropped. I don't feel as if he has learned anything this past school year and 4th grade is a grade that really matters (the others do as well). He passed all standardized tests presented to him and did exceptionally well, even the one they give at the beginning of the school year. There are extracurricular activities available for students to participate in : music, drama and other clubs that meet maybe once a week/month. School would be GREAT if regular education kids received more focus. I don't feel as if my child is adequately prepared for 5th grade. I've had to do more this summer with teaching than I've ever had to. But what about the other kids who don't have or can't get that extra assistance?Parent Review4y ago - Mckinley Senior High School

"its a college area - lsu is a party school and most of the people who live around here are college kids. its mainly apartments all around and they even advertise they are party central. not a place to really have a family. there are other parts of br for that"
