3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a staff member, my experience with this school has gotten progressively better! The teachers and staff are very friendly and supportive. Whenever I have need help with getting information I am able to connect with the right people and get my matter resolved. I appreciate the leadership of the principal "Dr. G" and the huge task she has with keeping the staff, teachers, and students safe. She is truly "changing the narrative" and is very strict when it comes to not allowing students that are not doing what they are supposed to do stay and cause problems at the school. She is quick to identify issues and move them out when necessary. I really appreciate that! Also the STEAM Academy of Advanced Academics is a great addition to the school and will definitely bring in more bright students and families. I am excited for the future of this school! My kids will be coming here next year! Go Brook!!!Other Review11mo ago - Lindley Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy brother was enrolled at this school (and he's a special needs student) and they took a week to process his records and get him into school. Now they call every other day for some problem that may or may not be real.I don't appreciate how the kids make fun of him and the teachers don't do anything about it, but they don't have a problem calling us to drop everything we're doing to pick him up from school.Other Review1y ago - Clay-Harmony Leland Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe social worker will contact you and say if your child has fever or cold they will need a doctors excuse they only can except a doctors excuse as a parent this sounds like a load of baloney it’s harassment to threaten you and ask why they miss school that happen 8 months ago and you need to remember why this missed that day 8 months ago and you did send a note but they only except doctors excuse makes no senseParent Review2mo ago - Lindley 6th Grade Academy

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son was in Accelerated Classes and all of his teachers was AWESOME, however, i cant say the same for the new principle. No events ever start on time. The end of the school year ceremony was so unorganized and started extremely late as if myself and other parents didn't have to go to work after. It was supposed to start at 9am and didn't start till 9:54 am. They didn't allow the students to walk across the stage to receive their certificates which is the reason why you invite the parents to come to the ceremony. My son was on AB honor roll for all 4 semesters and didnt even get recognize, well none of the students got recognized. I really love the AC teachers and wish they can teach my son every year, however, I'm not to please with Dr. McGhee, she isnt approachable at all.Parent Review6y ago - Check out schools near 133 Strickland Dr SW.
