School focus is on reading. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children really like/liked cherokee high school. It’s the teachers there that make the difference. It’s diverse and more like the real world. It is next to a water treatment plant so it can get smelly there. To address the overcrowding they expanded the high school into an elementary building that was next door. So the kids do have to walk a good distance between buildings but it was a good, immediate solution to the overcrowding.
