10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has a lot to offer academically and many extracurricular activities. Academically I have seen growth in my children and they are excited to learn. There are many opportunities for parents to volunteer and be as involved as they would like to be, during school days or at after school events. The majority of the teachers at the school are great and and you can tell they enjoy teaching. If you email or call the teachers or school they do respond quickly. The school nurse is competent, friendly and an excellent communicator. The only negative has been the schools lack of experience dealing with divorced parents and custody issues. Examples being teachers emailing all classroom information directly to non parents or legal guardians, (i.e. a girlfriend or boyfriend of a parent) even after one parent request to only share or communicate child's school information with the mom & dad. Allowing a parent to pickup child from school when that parent doesn't have custody of the child. As more and more parents are divorced I think some education for the staff on how to handle these issues effectively would be greatly appreciated.
