Walking distance to both Grand and Piedmont Ave, this 2nd story, large, bright & sunny 1BR/1BA upstairs unit has about 850 sq ft total, a recently remodeled kitchen w/Hardwood Floors and fresh paint. It's the 2nd largest of 6 units in a gorgeous turn of the century mansion (built in 1904) with many original architectural details still intact.
A small dining area near the kitchen can be used as an office/work space. Current residents praise the heavy plastered, thick walls, often forgetting that others even live in the same building. Neighborhood is beautiful, safe & secure, with many trees and blooming flowers. Parking is readily available on the street for visitors with no permit required (street sweeping happens once/month). Plenty of storage in the basement and off street parking included.
Address is 151-B Santa Rosa Ave in Oakland, available Feb 8th. Garbage and water is paid for. Monthly rent will be $2000. Security deposit is also $2000, indoor cats OK. Laundry facilities located on premises. Sorry, no water beds, fish tanks or indoor smokers.
To qualify, you or your Guarantor must show proof of employment of $5,000 in gross monthly pay (2.5 times rent). A minimum FICO credit score of 650 is also required. There is a non-refundable application fee of $35 per person.
Please call or TXT for more info or to schedule a Zoom Virtual Tour of the property.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son graduated from Oakland Tech in 2021. They prepared him for college and is doing well. He was part of the Race, Policy, and Law academy and had excellent teachers. My son had an IEP and his services were excellent. I'm disappointed in the review by the parent complaining about "labor strife." Very consistent with my experience with many of the families there. Truthfully, they were very rude and entitled. We support the teachers 100%.Parent Review10mo ago - Piedmont Avenue Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall our experience at this school has been good and we are just wrapping up 3rd grade in the school. The teachers in the lower grades are fantastic. Our daughter is a focused and interested student so we have had no problems. I do worry that children who are less so, might not get the extra support they need.Parent Review4y ago - Westlake Middle School
