What Locals Say about Gardena

"It's a nice place to raise a family or even for a single person. Suburban and quiet I would recommend to anybody who is looking for a safe place without too much going on"

  • Kay
"Quiet, lots of Asian & Mexican cuisine options. Most neighbors own and walk dogs. There’s plenty of parking."

  • AA
"Not dog friendly. Narrow walkways, cars drive fast and a lot of stray cats with fleas. They also put a lot of chemicals on the plants and my dog got sick multiple times. "

"I would like dog owners to know that this is a Dog friendly environment. Well maintained streets for all pet parents."

  • Kevin B.
"Been here for 4 years and it's a great family neighborhood with parks near. We walk our dog every night and watch the improvements everywhere. People are buying up and remodeling houses on almost every block. Close to shopping, freeways, beaches, malls, stores. When you see them build 40 new $1 million dollar homes here- there's no doubt the area is up and coming."
