Description
This property is not currently for sale or for rent on Trulia. The description and property data below may have been provided by a third party, the homeowner or public records.
Charming mid-century home on a huge lot that is close to everything. Watch the world go by from the front porch under a spectacular elm tree. The original home was 2 beds, 1 bath and approximately 1024 square feet. A previous owner, long ago, added an additional +/-300 feet of living area. The addition included a full bath. Permit status of the addition is unknown. The home features a large living room with beautiful oak flooring and a kitchen with stainless appliances (gas range) and gleaming wood cabinetry. The addition provides extra space for entertaining or home office. The rear yard is huge! A gardener's delight with several fruit trees and raised beds for veggies. A large paved side yard serves a dual purpose of RV/boat parking and a basketball court. The home is on the "secondary" portion of Camino Tass separated by a median from the main street. What a convenient location - .4 miles to award winning Vista Grande Elementary and less than a mile to the heart of downtown.

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA lot of the kids here are rude and stuck up and some of the teachers are incompetent. The attendance system is also very bad as me and my friends were constantly marked as absent when we weren’t. Would not recommend this school.Other Review2y ago - Monte Vista High School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDo not send your child here if they have ANY learning disabilities or special educational needs. Teachers don't even bother to read IEP's and seem to take great delight in making students feel stupid in class. It was a really toxic environment and I am glad we were able to get a transfer to a different school within the district.Parent Review1y ago - Vista Grande Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAmazing new principal who is very organized, honest, open to ideas, and all around great. Parent and community support is huge, lots of fundraising to keep music, art, and technology alive and well. Also paraeducators in all classrooms to help teachers and challenged students. Special programs like rainbow room to help any child struggling socially/emotionally. This school is limited to what it can do by handcuffs from the district, but beside that it is fabulous! Also it is one of the onlySchools in the district with an Alternative Learning option.Parent Review3y ago - Check out schools near 1191 Camino Tassajara.
