3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school has made changes like IB to improve. The Principal is really involved and I can tell she is trying to improve the learning. The teachers have been there for lots of years. The Principal sends home tons of info for parents and tries to get parents involved but most parents don’t show up so I’m not sure if they know what Pendleton is really about. This year the Principal has had monthly meetings with parents and only a few of us go but we learn a lot and get to ask questions. The school just got IB authorized and that will help improve teaching and the test scores.My child had an issue with a classmate and I contacted the principal. She listened to my concern and addressed it. I know that she can’t tell me what the other students consequences were because of the law doesn’t allow that but I felt sure that it was addressed. I know that if anything were to happen again that I can get her support. Things happen and kids will be kids but it feels good to know that she will make sure the kids are safe.Parent Review2mo ago - Buena Park High School

The students are down-to-earth, no entitlement attitude, and friendly. The size of the school is just right, has that family-feel.
