    Kourtney Kardashian and boyfriend Scott Disick have just purchased the Calabasas estate of former NFL star wide receiver and current ESPN analyst Keyshawn Johnson.

    Located just down the street from troubled pop star Justin Bieber, Johnson had a much-publicized feud with Justin after he was caught speeding  uncontrollably in his white Ferrari through their residential neighborhood while young children played in the streets.

    Originally listed and then delisted in 2011, the home popped back onto the market for December 2012 for $10.5 million. As Johnson’s issues with Bieber started to escalate, the asking price on his home started to drop. By February 2013, he’d chopped another $1.6 million off asking, but still couldn’t find a buyer. With his unruly neighbor continuing to cause him grief, Johnson decided to reduce the price yet again – slicing $400k off – bringing the home to $8.495 million. At that price, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick swooped in and took the incredible home off Johnson’s hands.

    Unruly pop star neighbor aside, Kourtney and Scott’s new house is a custom gem in the celebrity-infested Los Angeles suburb of Calabasas. Nestled inside the gated “Estates at the Oaks” community, the home sits on a huge 1.86 acre lot that boasts views and privacy. Inside, 6 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms are also joined by a chef’s kitchen, game and children’s play room, spa, sauna, elevator and theater.

    The grounds of the estate include covered patios with an outdoor fireplace, sunken basketball/sports court, a pool with spa and expansive rolling lawns.

    At 11,746 square feet, Kourtney is getting her wish for a new home: lots and lots of space. “Our family is bigger…I’d like to have a guest room and more space outside for the kids,” Kourtney told Domaine.com when she listed her much smaller home in Calabasas for $3,499,000.

        According to property records, Bruce Jenner‘s son closed on the 3 bedrooms, 3 bathroom, 1,517 square foot home on October 11, 2013.

        With his new Malibu digs, Brody is now neighbors with his brother Brandon and his wife Leah, who recently dropped $1.455 million on a rundown Malibu teardown that they will likely rebuild into their dream home. Their dad isn’t that far away either!           Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi have sold their Thousand Oaks equestrian estate just six weeks after listing it.

          First listed for $11 million, the duo must have had oodles of interested parties, because they quickly upped the asking to $12.995 million. Now, the home is under contract with a buyer, as first reported by Curbed and confirmed by the listing agent, Suzanne Perkins. The Los Angeles Times is reporting that the sale price is $10.85 million.

          Nestled at the foot of the Santa Monica Mountains in Thousand Oaks, CA, Ellen and Portia’s former property is comprised of 26 acres that include a unique compound of vintage barns, charming guest cottages and state-of-the-art equestrian facilities.             Ben Moss currently beams into our living rooms as the star of the Style Network’s “Hot Listings Miami,” but before he was a TV star, he was a very successful and accomplished real estate agent. With years of experience under his belt, Ben has been selling incredible estates in South Florida and beyond. Let’s go behind the scenes and learn a but more about Ben.

            How did you get your start in real estate?  

            I got into residential real estate brokerage by mistake.  I was a fairly successful office leasing broker by my mid-20′s.  My senior partner and I oversaw a portfolio of institutional office buildings in excess of 2.5 MM square feet in South Florida.  My girlfriend at the time/first wife/ex-wife (and current business partner) had been on the first season of The Apprentice.  I suggested to her that she should start her own real estate brokerage and brand it herself.  I would help her on nights and weekends.  This was 2004 and the residential market was really ramping up.  She got completely swamped and I felt responsible for it, so I had to make a very tough decision and decided to leave commercial real estate and try to help run the new company.  At first I was like a fish out of water.  I didn’t even know how to properly write up a sales contract, but I figured it out and then started to really enjoy the residential brokerage business.

            What sale or career milestone are you most proud of? 

            Before I even thought about a career in real estate, I flipped a house my sophomore year in college.  I had attended a 3-day real estate investment seminar and I went out looking for a deal.  I found it, made it happen and realized that real estate investing was  a very cool thing!  At closing though, the guy I flipped it to had flipped it to the end buyer and made about 15 times as much as I did.  I learned a lot on that first transaction, but still managed to make some money on it.  To seal the deal with the seller I took her to a fancy bar in Miami so we could sit down and sign the contract.  The whole time I  was hoping that the waiter would not ask me for an ID since I was only 18.  That will always be my favorite deal because it was one of the wildest and it was my first.

            What is your dream home location?

            I love Miami and where I live in Miami (which is the city of South Miami) because I can walk to all the amenities like Whole Foods, shops and restaurants. I’m also about 5 minutes away from a great dog park that I try to take my dogs to every day.  However, I’d love to own a house in Boulder, Colorado in the near future.  I love the idea of being able to walk out of my house in Boulder and go for a hike up the Flat Irons.  My goal is to buy a house there by the age of 40.

            What kind of car do you drive? 

            I drive a silver 2012 Audi A7.  I love the car and I’ve had it now for just over 2 years. It’s a great real estate car because I can drive clients around in it, yet it’s sleek and sporty and I think it has a great body.  Having said that I’m really not much of a car enthusiast, so I’m sure I’ll be driving this car for as long as I can.

            What site/app do you check first when you wake up? 

            I’m getting into currency trading, so that’s usually the first thing I do when I turn on my computer.  However, when I first wake up the first thing I do most mornings is meditate, then eat breakfast while tuning in to CNBC’s Squawk Box.

            What was the last book you read? 

            Raw Power! by Stephen Arlin.   I’m a health enthusiast and so I’m trying to adopt more of a raw foods lifestyle, but I have a long ways to go.  I’m usually reading 2-3 books at one time though.

            Name your favorite guilty pleasure

            Craft beer and brownies (not together).  I am lucky enough to live close to my parents, and so we get together every Sunday for dinner.  I usually eat 2-3 of my mom’s brownies every Sunday.  It’ s not a Sunday night dinner without mom’s brownies.

            What’s one thing someone would never guess just by looking at you? 

            Probably that Spanish was my first language.  I grew up in Panama (my dad was US Ambassador) so I didn’t learn English until I was 5.

            If you weren’t selling real estate, what else could you see yourself  doing? 

            I’d definitely be working for myself in some capacity, probably as an entrepreneur.  I have to think it would be something in the fitness or health industry.   Either that, or I would have gone back into commercial office leasing, which is a great career.

            What’s your “claim to fame?” 

            I’m on a reality  show right now on Style network called Hot Listings Miami.

            If you could switch places with anyone in the world, who would it be and why? 

            I’m a huge music buff, and I think being Dave Matthews for a day, a week or a lifetime would be a sweet deal.  He’s a creative genius and has managed to have a pretty successful band for over 20 years now.

                The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars have sold their 6 bedroom, 7 bathroom, 13,500 square foot Montville, New Jersey mansion for the full asking price of $3.8 million.

                US Weekly broke the news that the married duo and their three kids are leaving the town of Montville, NJ and heading back to Franklin Lakes, NJ because it’s closer to Joe’s work. They have purchased a piece of land for an unknown sum and plan to rent another home until the new dream home is complete.

                In last season’s “Real Housewives of New Jersey” reunion, a tearful Melissa admitted that she and Joe were selling their Montville home to prevent their children from having to go to school with the daughters of then arch-enemy, sister-in-law Teresa Guidice. The feuding family members have since made amends, and with the upcoming move to Franklin Lakes, the Gorga family will be even closer to their in-laws.

                When this home hit the market in May 2012 with an asking price of $3.8 million, it wasn’t the Gorga’s first attempt at a sale. In 2010, before they first appeared on the reality show (and shortly after completing construction of the home), they listed it for an optimistic $4,100,000.

                  “Twilight” star Peter Facinelli and his ex-wife, actress Jennie Garth, have sold their home in Toluca Lake for $3.99 million to “The Big Bang Theory” co-creator Bill Prady.

                  A year after filing for divorce and just a month before their divorce became final, Facinelli and Garth were able to agree on one thing together – to accept the offer from Prady that was $2,640,000 more than the $1.35 million Facinelli and Garth purchased the home for in 2003.

                  According to property records first discovered by the Los Angeles Times, the deal closed on May 1, 2013.

                  The traditional home was built in 1937 and has 7 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms and 8,416 square feet of living space that includes formal living and dining rooms, his-and-hers offices, a bar and game room, kitchen with a fireplace, two master bedroom suites, gym and media room.

                  The gated property contains an expansive five-car garage, an outdoor kitchen area and a swimming pool.

                  Andrew Manning of Prudential California Realty and Garth’s mother, Carolyn Garth of Sotheby’s International Realty were the listing agents. Caroline Fleck of Coldwell Banker’s Beverly Hills South office represented the buyer.
