Larry David‘s home selling hopes are getting a little “Curbed.”
The Seinfeld co-creator and Curb Your Enthusiasm creator/actor has just chopped $2,004,000 off the price of his tudor-style, fairytale-esque home in Pacific Palisades. Originally listed for $14,999,000 in March 2013, David’s been unable to find a buyer and just reduced the price significantly to bait a buyer.
Gated and private, David’s estate features 7 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms and more than 10,000 square feet. The living room, family room, dining room and kitchen all feature fireplaces. The master suite has an adjacent large deck to sit and enjoy the ocean views. An office, gym and playroom round out the additional rooms in this incredible estate. A large separate guesthouse with fireplace has views of the sparkling pool and views beyond!
David has been divorced from his high-profile environmental activist ex-wife Laurie since 2007.
Santiago Arana of The Partner’s Trust still holds the listing.

Celebrity real estate often centers around the entertainment hubs of Los Angeles and New York City, but every now and again, you’ll run across some spectacular celebrity property in off-the-beaten-path cities across America. In Asheville, North Carolina, you’ll find the newly for-sale home of Andie MacDowell, the famous face of L’oreal and actress from well-known flicks like Groundhog Day, Multiplicity and St. Elmo’s Fire.
Originally from South Carolina, MacDowell stayed relatively close to home when she purchased her property in the upscale Biltmore Forest community outside Asheville back in June 1998 for $790,000. Her original purchase included two vacant and adjacent parcels totaling 1.89 acres on the 7th fairway of the neighboring country club. MacDowell proceeded to build a magnificent, four-story, storybook Tudor that measures in at 10,872 square-feet. Now for sale with a list price of $4,500,000, the home includes 6-bedrooms, 7.5-bathrooms and 6 fireplaces. Built with meticulous craftsmanship and superb artistic detail, the home has an air of timelessness and modern ease. To take in the scenery of the surrounding area, MacDowell’s home also features a one-of-a-kind expansive terrace.
