3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1,732 square feet, views
Eva Mendes is selling the Los Angeles starter home she owns with her ex-boyfriend George Gargurevich for $1,269,000!
Eva and George bought the house for $584,000 on December 2, 2002, back when they were happily coupled up in what eventually became an 8-year romance that ended in 2010.
Their shared home is a dramatic and downright funky Mid Century home has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathroom and 1,732 square feet of tropical-inspired living space. Renovated over the course of the decade, the beautifully-designed living space is graced with explosive city views. A true bohemian den, the home has “artful pockets of space for nomadic entertaining…and vintage wall paper, exquisite lighting and European fixtures.”
Like many homes with views of Los Angeles, Mendes’ starter home has walls of glass that open to multiple outdoor decks. The outdoor gardens have fruit trees, chickens, raised vegetable boxes, an outdoor shower and a cedar hot tub.
Eva doesn’t live in this particular home – she owns a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom home nearby that she purchased in April 2008 for $3.2M. Eva’s hunky boyfriend Ryan Gosling was spotted outside this particular home, squashing rumors that the duo were on the rocks.

Actor famous for roles in "Saving Private Ryan," "Boiler Room," "Fast & Furious" and more
3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 1,517 square feet, pool
When it comes to real estate, Vin Diesel doesn’t move ‘Fast.’ The “Fast & Furious“ star has held onto his first Hollywood Hills home for more than a decade, choosing to stay put in his modest bachelor pad instead of trading up to a mega mansion.
Diesel first made a name for himself after appearing in hit flicks like ”Saving Private Ryan” and “Boiler Room,” and he took his movie star paychecks and plunked down $562,500 in February 2000 for a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 1,517 square foot home on a quiet street in the Hollywood Hills.
13 years later, Diesel wants $1,300,000 for the walled and gated hideout that the listing calls “a perfect hideout for a celebrity or those who seek privacy and serenity.” In true Los Angeles style, the home has outdoor spaces that create the perfect balance of indoor/outdoor living. An open floor plan is punctuated by a living room with fireplace and high-beamed ceiling with skylights. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom featuring sunken tub and steam shower. Outside, a large backyard has a pool and spa.
Property records show Diesel was previously asking $5,800 a month to rent the place out before making the decision to sell it off.
Kittean Clark of Rodeo Realty is representing Diesel in the sale.

Actor with an impressive roster of hits, including a famous role as Rod Tidwell in Jerry Maguire
5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3,538 square feet, pool
Actor Cuba Gooding Jr. is selling his ‘starter home’ in Northridge, California for $729,000. Purchased by the budding actor on February 10, 1999 for $439,000, the now bonafide star is ready to part with the 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom, 3,538 square foot home at 19356 Vista Grande Way if someone can “show him the money” and come in close to his $729,000 asking price.
It’s pretty clear Cuba hasn’t made this home his main priority in the past few years. The listing photos suggest that the home needs some major upgrading and even the listing language says that the home “needs TLC” and will be sold “as-is.” This is the perfect purchase for someone who wants to take on the renovations in order to live in a home with a pool in a family-friendly neighborhood.
Like any celebrity with hit after hit, Cuba upgraded his living situation and moved into a 6 bedroom, 7 bathroom, 6,753 square foot mansion in Pacific Palisades that he purchased on May 31, 2000 for $3,500,000.
In case you were wondering, Cuba’s listing agent isn’t named Jerry Maguire, it’s actually Bernie Leibovitch of Rodeo Realty.

Playing the awkwardly awesome McLovin in Superbad
2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large backyard
Christopher Mintz-Plasse, the actor who played the quirky and lovable one-named lady killer McLovin in the hit “Superbad,” has purchased himself a sweet little starter home in Los Angeles! Public property records show that Mintz-Plasse plopped down $515,000 for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom, 924-square-foot home. The deal closed on January 9, 2013. While the property isn’t super luxurious, it’s a nice, cozy place to call home for a guy who got his big break in a major way. According to reports, the actor auditioned with two high school friends for the part of Fogell, aka “McLovin,” in the film Superbad despite the fact he didn’t even have professional head shots (he ended up taking one with his camera phone just before the audition). Since Superbad, Mintz-Plasse has had starring roles in Role Models, Year One, Kick-Ass, and Fright Night.
Instead of going the typical “child actor” route of blowing all his dough on a flashy pad, Mintz-Plasse started small, not far from where he grew up. His new place is a remodeled home in a prime Woodland Hills location with a large front lawn and brick walkways. Upon entering the space, you’ll find rich wood floors, beautiful moldings, recessed lighting, and an open feel. The kitchen has custom-built cabinets, black granite countertops, updated kitchen appliances, a tile floor, french doors, and views to the backyard. The master suite has a walk-in closet with even more custom storage, french doors facing out to rear grounds, and a remodeled master bath with double sinks and a large stall shower. The home’s second bath has also been remodeled. The backyard is complete with a fantastic redwood deck, brick masonry, a large lawn/play area, and a covetable detached bonus room, which also doubles as a guest room.
We’re sure Mintz-Plasse is McLovin his new home!
