Hip Hop’s ultimate bad boy, Chris Brown, is selling his swank Hollywood Hills crib for $1.92 million.

Chris hasn’t been spending much time in the home as of late, since he’s been in a court-ordered residential rehab program. According to reports from CNN, the singer’s probation report states that he has an anger-management problem and drug-abuse issues. He’s been on felony probation since pleading guilty to beating up singer Rihanna on the eve of the Grammys in 2009, and he’s currently under increased legal scrutiny following an arrest in Washington in October.

Amid all his personal troubles, Brown is making changes by ridding himself of the hillside home he purchased on October 21, 2011 for $1,550,000.

The modern hillside home was designed by acclaimed architect Jay Vanos and tailored for high design, quality and Brown’s Hollywood lifestyle. A elevator from the street level leads up into a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home, where spectacular custom LED site lighting and a salt water pool and spa greet you.

Soaring high ceilings, walls of glass and exotic stones throughout compliment the canyon setting, allowing total privacy while being just seconds away from the studios and all of Hollywood nightlife.

A true celebrity retreat, Brown’s home has a Boffi kitchen and baths, Dorn Bracht fixtures, a shower massage system, a green roof, entry/security system and Crestron home control of all systems.

When he was home and free to do as he pleased, Brown enjoyed the California lifestyle in this home, which also features spectacular indoor and outdoor entertaining spaces, including fire pits, stone waterfalls and an outdoor projection screen.

His neighbors won’t be sad to see him go. He recently angered the entire block by painting a graffiti mural on the front of his home, which he claims is protected by his 1st amendment rights.

Property records show that Brown also owns a home in his Virginia hometown and a condo in West Hollywood that he purchased for $1.6 million in 2011 that’s currently for sale for $1.695 million.

Manuela Villa of Coldwell Banker holds the listing.

Stump gained notoriety as the lead singer, guitarist and composer for the massively popular rock band Fall Out Boy, which also includes Ashlee Simpson’s ex-husband Pete Wentz. When Fall Out Boy went on hiatus a few years back, Stump did his own thing and released two critically-aclaimed solo albums and even produced albums for other artists, including Cobra Starship and Gym Class Heroes.

In 2013, Fall Out Boy announced the end of their musical hiatus and released a brand new album that debuted at #1 on the charts, and quickly followed on to that album with a second release.

With an incredible musical comeback and more hits, Stump may be celebrating his success by upgrading his digs! He just listed the 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom, 2,509 square foot home he bought on April 2, 2008 for $1,975,000.

Walk-in closets, wood floors, and a beautiful master bath create the perfect retreat. Just 2 months after Orlando Bloom snagged a renter willing to pay $16,500 a month for the home famously burglarized by “The Bling Ring,” he’s had a change of heart and has heaved the home on the open market with a $4.5 million dollar price tag.

While “Bling Ring” debacle is way in the past and the kids involved have since been caught, prosecuted and made infamous in Sofia Copolla’s film of the same name,  Bloom has decided to officially close the door on his time owning the 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom, 3,248 square foot home.

Situated high up off the street, Bloom’s very private, gated compound totals 3/4 acres and features security cameras (naturally), lush gardens, a pool, swim machine and spa. The all-black, ‘artistic’ single-story home features a chef’s kitchen with walnut/cherry handmade custom cabinetry and a warming fireplace. Off the kitchen is an outdoor patio with built-in barbecue and dining area. To the other side of the kitchen is a large den/office/bedroom with full bathroom and separate entrance. The master suite looks out onto the pool area and has a huge walk in closet and large bathroom with separate tub and steam shower.

Bloom purchased the home on March 28, 2007 for $2,750,000.

British bad boy actor/comedian Russell Brand has just splashed out $2.224 million on a hilltop bachelor pad.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Brand’s new pad hilltop home was once owned by the great Laurence Olivier. The residence is 4,800 square foot, multi-story mansion high in the Hollywood Hills. Built in 1926 and designed by architect Selden Price, the home is nestled into a steep hillside and has incredible panoramic city views.

Fully restored by the previous owner, the gothic-feeling estate has voluminous spaces and dramatic flying buttress arched ceilings and doorways. The entry level is comprised of a spacious living room, an outdoor dining terrace over-looking the canyon and city below, a formal dining room and kitchen with high-quality finishes. Down one flight of stairs, Brand’s lower level includes a master suite, 2 guest bedrooms and an office, all of which open to the incredible views. Walk down yet another level and you’ll find a state-of-the-art screening room, studio apartment with separate entrance and a sprawling outdoor deck and yard over-looking the view – perfect for entertaining!

Brand’s new purchase is his first big real estate move after splitting from ex-wife Katy Perry. While Brand is skating into a new place in the Hills, Perry is having a heck of a time selling their former love nest, which was just price-chopped a second time, bringing the asking price to more than half a million less than what she paid for it in 2011. But don’t cry for Katy – she’s since upgraded to a $11.2 million-dollar Hollywood compound.

            Poor Katy Perry!

She just can’t seem to be able to leave the past behind and sell the Hollywood Hills home she intended to share with then-husband Russell Brand before their divorce. After a massive price cut this summer, she has just price-chopped the home for a second time!

Katy Perry is ready to close the door on that part of her life, even if it means losing a ton of money in the process. In a revealing article in the June 2013 issue of Vogue, Perry revealed that Brand told her he wanted a divorce via text message. With that kind of ending, no wonder Perry wants out of the home that she and Brand had intended to make their happy home. After slashing the price on their former home by $430,000 in June, Perry has axed another $507,000 from the asking price, bringing the new price to $5,988,000 – $512,000 less than what she paid for it!

Purchased by the songstress on June 24, 2011 for $6,500,000, Perry intended to make the 3-acre estate compound near the famed Chateau Marmont her and then-husband Russell Brand‘s marital love nest. Amid rumors of an impending divorce and before the moving vans could even get in the front gates, the duo split for good – and the home remained vacant. Perry was reportedly secretly hoping to find a buyer for her unlucky love nest without having to officially list the home for sale. Perhaps she was asking too much money or people just didn’t want the bad juju associated with the home, but Perry couldn’t find her buyer with a pocket listing. She officially listed it April 2013 and has been desperate to part with it ever since. Still without a buyer, Perry is discounting the home yet again, in hopes that an even lower price will entice someone to make an offer.

The home, dubbed “Park Hill,” was built in 1921 and is comprised of a significant Mediterranean residence with two-story grand entry that continues into two-story living room overlooking all of Los Angeles and the city’s dramatic skyline.

The property has a separate two-story guest house that was formerly a caretaker’s apartment on the lower level and a Carriage House on the second level for auto storage. In 2004, another guest house was built and could be used as a private residence, as it comes complete with a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom.

The lushly landscaped backyard has a lagoon-style pool with waterfall and small bridges. Adding to the allure of this property, the home neighbors Frank Lloyd Wright’s famed Storer House.

Perry has since moved on a romance with John Mayer and on the real estate front, she’s also moved on to a two-home compound that she purchased for $11 million.

There’s a silver lining in Paul Wesley and Torrey DeVitto’s divorce story. The actor and actress exes just closed on the sale of their former martial home in the Hollywood Hills – and they got $139,000 OVER their asking price.

Property records show that the home closed on September 6, 2013 for $1,734,020. They were asking $1,595,000 when they listed it in early August. The timing may not have been right for their relationship, but when it comes to the housing market, it was spot on. Shortly after placing the home on the market following their divorce announcement, it quickly went into escrow and closed a month later.

After meeting in 2007 and marrying in a private ceremony in New York City in April 2011, Wesley and DeVitto purchased the home together on December 29, 2011 for $980,000. While their marriage may be kaput, they can at least smile about the $754,000 profit they made on the home sale.

Sold to an unknown buyer, the Wesley and DeVitto’s former home is a fully restored 20?s Mediterranean Villa perched above Beachwood Canyon with hedged perimeter for absolute privacy. The interior has a large rotunda entry, gorgeous vintage tile floors, a top-of-the-line kitchen, beamed ceilings and stone counters.

Upstairs, the large master retreat is separated from the 2 additional bedrooms, which share a vintage-style bathroom. Outside, French doors open to a large flagstone, canyon-view terrace with fountain and garden areas.

Peter Maurice of Rodeo Realty – Beverly Hills represented Wesley and DeVitto in the sale and Boni Bryant of Sotheby’s International Realty was the buyer’s agent.

Three years later, Zappa and his wife Angeleno Shanna Muldoon (sister of Patrick Muldoon) are still trying to sell their quintessential post-and-beam one-story home.

Located on a quiet street in the Hollywood Hills, the home sits just above Runyon Canyon with southern exposure to optimize natural light and views of the city, mountains and Hollywood sign. Walls of glass merge the indoor and outdoor spaces.
