The newly-single media mogul billionaire Rupert Murdoch is under contract to purchase the stunning penthouse at New York City’s One Madison building for $57.25 million.

As first reported by the Murdoch-owned Wall Street Journal, he is purchasing the top four floors of the chic One Madison building – the very same NYC condo building where Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen just bought a place for $14 million.

According to WSJ’s report, Murdoch bought floors 57 to 60, which total 10,160 square feet, from the developer, Related Companies. His purchase includes two units: a 6,850-square-foot triplex penthouse that had been on the market for $50 million (and toured by multiple A-list celebs, millionaires and billionaires), and a three-bedroom apartment on the floor below that had been listed for $16.5 million. Murdoch’s two One Madison apartments are unconnected, but could easily be combined, according to a representative from the developer.

The penthouse has five bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms and a 586 square foot outdoor wraparound terrace. It also has an internal elevator. Rupert will be able to put his own personal touches on the place before he moves in – he bought it in ‘raw condition’ and will install his own finishes and decor.

Prior to this incredible purchase, Murdoch resided in a Fifth Avenue penthouse that he paid $44 million for in 2005. He and his wife of 13 years, Wendi Deng, recently divorced and she is keeping that residence as a part of the divorce settlement.

Right as the news of his divorce was coming to light, Murdoch purchased a 13-acre winery estate in Bel Air, CA for $28.8 million.

7 Years After Their Divorce, Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe Sell Shared Los Angeles Investment Property

Although they divorced in 2007 after seven years of marriage, Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe shared more than just their two beautiful children – they also still owned a pricey Los Angeles investment property together!

Now, that is no more. They just sold their shared duplex for $1,440,000 on January 17, 2014. Purchased by Reese and Ryan in October 2005 for $1,173,500, the divorced duo held onto the two-unit, remodeled property through the real estate market downturn, and then listed it for $1,395,000 in December 2013. 18 days later, the home went under contract for $1,440,000 – a full $45,000 OVER asking. All in all, Reese and Ryan pocketed a nice $266,500 profit on the sale.

That’s a nice turn of events for both Reese and Ryan, who each lost boatloads of cash on recent home sales. Reese just sold the Ojai, CA ranch where she married her new husband, Jim Toth at a major loss! Purchased by Reese for $5.8 million in 2008, she originally asked $10 million for the ranch, reduced the price multiple times, and finally accepted an offer of $4,983,500 – a loss of $816,500! Think that’s a big loss? Ryan lost an eye-popping $1,175,000 when he sold his Zen-inspired Sunset Strip mansion in March 2013.

Mary Lu Tuthill of Coldwell Banker Brentwood was Reese and Ryan’s listing agent for this deal, and Lisa Mansfield of Sotheby’s International Realty represented the buyer.

After a year of turmoil and scandal that resulted in divorce, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are officially selling their sprawling Tarzana home.

According to the Los Angeles Times and  The Real Estalker, the home is now officially listed for sale for $5,499,000.

In the months before the home went up for sale, news reports revealed that Lamar has been battling drug addiction and Khloe was trying to save him – and their four-year marriage. When all their efforts to rectify their marriage failed, Khloe filed for divorce in December, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Now, it’s time to split the marital assets – including this incredible mansion, which was purchased in both of their names before being transferred into a shared trust. Khloe and Lamar paid $3,950,000 for the spread in December 2009 -  shortly after they married in a quickie wedding ceremony after just a month of dating.

If you have the cash money to buy the house where Khloe and Lamar spent happier days, you’ll be buying a guard-gated Mulholland Park custom-built home located at the end of a private enclave cul-de-sac. Huge grassy lawns and a dramatic entry courtyard make a great first impression as you pull up to the home. Inside, a dramatic entryway leads to luxe living spaces that include 7 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, stone floors, a theater.

Outside, Khloe and Lamar’s Tarzana home has an outdoor kitchen with 2 refrigerators, a bbq bit, covered cabanas and a pool and spa.

If the home looks familiar, it’s because they’ve filmed “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and their spin-off “Khloe & Lamar” all over the property.

Tomer and Isadora Fridman of Ewing Sotheby’s International Realty hold the listing.

Two years after their bitter divorce, Camille and Kelsey Grammer are finally untangling one of the final pieces of their former life together.

Property records show that their stunning Beaver Creek, Colorado vacation home has finally sold for $6.6 million!

In 2002, during much happier times, they purchased the home together for $5,350,000. Fast forward to September 2011, when the just-seperated duo put the home on the market for $7.9 million and hoped to make a quick and easy sale and divide the profits, per the terms of their divorce settlement.

Two years ticked by and the asking price dropped lower and lower, and finally a buyer stepped forward and bought the Grammer’s former winter hideaway, which was once featured on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

The exquisite just-sold home is nestled in the private area of Bachelor Gulch. As you may have seen on RHOBH, the home is excellent for entertaining, and offers a spacious great room, two master suites, a family/rec room, dramatic circular stair tower and in true Camille Grammer fashion – nannies quarters. Other highlights include beautiful pine floors reclaimed from the Sears Tower in Chicago, inviting stone fireplaces, vaulted ceilings, a spacious gourmet kitchen and breakfast nook, a wine cellar and tasting room, and an expansive deck with gorgeous mountain views.

The home also features a in-ground hot tub. The convenient ski-in/walk to ski out location is adjacent to an open space dedicated as a wildlife corridor.

This home has successfully sold, and Camille has just one more piece of her former life to shed before she’s officially Kelsey-free. She is currently looking to sell their former family home in Malibu. It’s on the market with a $14,995,000 price tag.

Report: Charlie Sheen Selling The Home He Bought For Estranged Ex-Wife Brooke Mueller

Amid a nasty (and we mean NASTY) custody battle, TMZ is reporting that Charlie Sheen is trying to quickly sell the Beverly Hills mansion he bought as a primary residence for his ex-wife Brooke Mueller and their twin boys, Bob and Max.

Located just around the corner from his mansion in the gated, upscale neighborhood of Mulholland Estates, Brooke’s 5 bedroom, 6 bathroom, 6,625 square foot home was purchased by Sheen on October 23, 2012 from billionaire Tom Gores for $4,800,000. According to TMZ’s report, Sheen wants to sell the home quickly and for exactly what he paid for it, because terms of his divorce from Mueller specify that any profit made on the residence must be split evenly. So if he sells for zero profit, he owes her nothing.

          Isn’t love grand?

The home is a total stunner, especially at that $4.8M price point – it’s Spanish-style villa on expansive, private grounds. The home centers around a formal living room that then opens to a library/den, dining room, theater, gourmet kitchen and family room. Brooke’s master suite has a separate sitting room, dual fireplaces and multiple walk-in closets. Outside, the spacious backyard has a large pool/spa and built-in bbq.

When everything was amicable between Charlie and Brooke, this home was the perfect spot for her and the boys to live – because Dad was just around the corner. Charlie actually owns two more mansions in Mulholland Estates – a 6 bed, 9 bath home he paid $6,999,999 for on March 31, 2011 and a 5 bed, 7 bath estate he picked up on April 28, 2006 for $7,200,000.

While Charlie’s not with his real estate agent, it’s likely he’s with his lawyer. He and Brooke’s heated custody battle rages on.

After a year of turmoil and scandal, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are reportedly selling their sprawling Tarzana home.

According to TMZ, the home has secretly been listed for sale for $3,995,000. Interested? Well, the home isn’t open to just anyone – it’s only being shown to qualified buyers who can show that they can actually afford to pay the asking price.

Khloe and Lamar moved into the home shortly after marrying in a quickie wedding ceremony in 2009. They’ve filmed “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and their spin-off “Khloe & Lamar” in the home. In light of recent news reports that Lamar has been battling drug addiction and that Khloe intends to eventually divorce him, it makes sense that the home is up for sale. With less combined assets, the easier it will be for the duo to split. While we’re rooting for Lamar to turn his life around and for the seemingly in-love duo to make it work, selling the family home is usually a strong indicator that things are trending towards divorce.

If you have the cash money to buy the house, you’ll be buying a guard-gated Mulholland Park custom built 7-bedroom home located at the end of a private enclave cul-de-sac. Poor Katy Perry!

She just can’t seem to be able to leave the past behind and sell the Hollywood Hills home she intended to share with then-husband Russell Brand before their divorce. After a massive price cut this summer, she has just price-chopped the home for a second time!

Katy Perry is ready to close the door on that part of her life, even if it means losing a ton of money in the process. In a revealing article in the June 2013 issue of Vogue, Perry revealed that Brand told her he wanted a divorce via text message. With that kind of ending, no wonder Perry wants out of the home that she and Brand had intended to make their happy home. After slashing the price on their former home by $430,000 in June, Perry has axed another $507,000 from the asking price, bringing the new price to $5,988,000 – $512,000 less than what she paid for it!

Purchased by the songstress on June 24, 2011 for $6,500,000, Perry intended to make the 3-acre estate compound near the famed Chateau Marmont her and then-husband Russell Brand‘s marital love nest. Amid rumors of an impending divorce and before the moving vans could even get in the front gates, the duo split for good – and the home remained vacant. Perry was reportedly secretly hoping to find a buyer for her unlucky love nest without having to officially list the home for sale. Perhaps she was asking too much money or people just didn’t want the bad juju associated with the home, but Perry couldn’t find her buyer with a pocket listing. She officially listed it April 2013 and has been desperate to part with it ever since. Still without a buyer, Perry is discounting the home yet again, in hopes that an even lower price will entice someone to make an offer.

The home, dubbed “Park Hill,” was built in 1921 and is comprised of a significant Mediterranean residence with two-story grand entry that continues into two-story living room overlooking all of Los Angeles and the city’s dramatic skyline.

The property has a separate two-story guest house that was formerly a caretaker’s apartment on the lower level and a Carriage House on the second level for auto storage. In 2004, another guest house was built and could be used as a private residence, as it comes complete with a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom.

The lushly landscaped backyard has a lagoon-style pool with waterfall and small bridges. Adding to the allure of this property, the home neighbors Frank Lloyd Wright’s famed Storer House.

Perry has since moved on a romance with John Mayer and on the real estate front, she’s also moved on to a two-home compound that she purchased for $11 million.

Peter Facinelli may have moved on romantically after his divorce from Jennie Garth, but when it comes to his real estate portfolio, he’s pretty much right where he was before.

According to property records, Facinelli paid $2,015,000 for a gorgeous, brand new Toluca Lake home right down the street from the home he and Garth shared for 10 years. The now-divorced duo’s former marital home sold to “The Big Bang Theory” co-creator Bill Prady for $3.99 million.

Downsizing but not skimping on luxurious amenities, Facinelli’s new home is a newly-built modernized traditional with 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. Highlights include an open floor plan that allows seamless flow from the fabulous kitchen to a large family room with a built-in entertainment center and glass doors leading out to a private grassy yard with saltwater pool and spa.

Most bedrooms are found upstairs, as well as a bonus room that’d make a perfect gym or office. The master suite is expansive and the master bath has white marble vanity with dual Kohler sinks, large glass shower and luxurious spa tub.

Facinelli is currently dating actress Jamie Alexander, whom he met on the set of the TV show Nurse Jackie.

Brad Grey, Chairman and CEO of Paramount Pictures, is selling his Bel Air mansion for $27.5 million.

According to reporting by the Wall Street Journal, the Greys are now selling the home because they have decided to build a new house on a 2.3-acre property in Los Angeles’s Holmby Hills. Mr. Grey bought that property, which once belonged to Frank Sinatra in the 1950s, in November 2010 for $18.5 million.

Brad and his second wife Cassandra Huysentruyt married at the new Holmby Hills property in front most of Hollywood’s A-listers back in April 2011, and have decided to build a new, modern estate on the property.

Now, the duo are divorcing their former estate – not each other – and moving on to their next great real estate adventure in Holmby Hills. Grey purchased the home at 385 Copa De Oro Rd for $22 million in March 2009, when he and Huysentruyt were dating and he was finalizing his divorce from his wife of 25 years.

Constructed brand new in 2006, the 5-bedroom, 7-bathroom home is over 10,500 square feet on a gated and completely private 1.1 acre lot. The home has spacious rooms that include dramatic two-story entry with curved staircase, paneled gentleman’s den and bar, over-sized living room that converts to professional theater/media, family room, large kitchen, breakfast room and formal dining room.

Upstairs, the master bedroom has glamorous his-and-hers separate bathrooms and closets, as well as a patio overlooking the sprawling grounds. Separated from the master are 3 additional en suite bedrooms connected by their own living room area.

The outdoor living area includes a covered loggia and open lounging areas beside the beautiful pool.

In Bel Air, Grey has no shortage of celebrity neighbors. This property is next door to the property that Nicolas Cage lost to foreclosure and across the street from Rick and Kathy Hilton.

Aside from this trophy property in primo Bel Air and the Holmby Hills teardown, Grey also owns a pricey co-op in NYC’s famous Carlyle.

Stephen Shapiro of The Westside Agency is Grey’s real estate agent.

After spending two years unofficially on the market following their seemingly amicable divorce, Courteney Cox and David Arquette have finally officially listed their stunning A. Quincy Jones-designed Beverly Hills estate for $19,500,000.

First unearthed by The Real Estalker and confirmed by property records, the Wallace Ridge estate is nestled in the uber-private and high-priced gated Trousdale Estates area of Beverly Hills. In June 2004, in their happily married days, Cox and Arquette purchased the trophy property for $5,450,000. They had the single-story home completely restored by renowned architect Cory Buckner in 2006.

Now that they’re kaput and officially divorced, the former spouses are giving the heave-ho to an approximately 5,500 square foot home on one level, with 4 bedrooms (plus maids rooms), 5.5 bathrooms, detached office and uniquely gorgeous circular swimming pool.

Jonah Wilson of Hilton & Hyland holds the listing.
