Adding fuel to the fire of those divorce rumors, the New York Post is reporting that Beyonce was spotted touring a $21.5 million-dollar condo in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood.

A new home for her, Jay-Z and baby Blue Ivy? Not likely, since this 4,054 square-foot pad is nearly half the size of the luxurious TriBeCa condo the Carter family currently calls home.

According to the Post’s source, “She was very quiet, as if she was looking on the sly.” Additional sources also said that the fact that Jay-Z wasn’t there was a big red flag, since he “has always been extremely involved in their real estate deals.”

While many people say it’s just a matter of when, not if, they will split, Beyonce may be getting her ducks in a row and finding a new home.

If it’s true and they’re no longer “Crazy in Love,” this New York City condo is definitely fit for “Queen B.”

The magnificent Penthouse offers unequalled panoramic city and river vistas on one of Chelsea’s finest blocks. Every inch of this immaculate duplex reflects superior craftsmanship, utmost attention to detail and ultra-refined finishes at every turn, with a backdrop of stretching views of the Empire State Building, Highline, Hudson River and more from floor-to-ceiling windows.

The custom-designed living space is complemented by a private 642 square foot, north-facing terrace that showcases stretching city sights. Completely renovated to perfection, this large, light-bathed 5 bedroom, 5.5 bath duplex penthouse was made for entertaining. With huge formal areas and the massive outdoor terrace accessible from both the grand living room and library, there is a  seamless flow for intimate barbecues and large-scale parties.

A top-of-the-line open chef’s kitchen faces south and west and is equipped with a breakfast area, white Cararra marble, Arclinea Italian cabinetry, Boffi fixtures, premium appliances including a Viking range with a vented hood, Sub-Zero refrigerator, Miele dishwasher, and wine refrigerator.

Other highlights of this enviable residence are 9’2″ ceiling heights, charcoal granite and teak floors, teak wall panels and Venetian plaster walls, custom electronic shades throughout, stone tiles in the spa-like baths, a custom-designed staircase with an intricate bronze railing, and spacious laundry room with a full-size Miele washer and dryer, teak and stainless steel cabinetry.

The sprawling master bedroom retreat is the piece de resistance with its spectacular views, massive teak closet providing loads of luxury storage, and opulent master bath with ribbed marble walls and Boffi fixtures.

Perfect for Beyonce, the luxurious building has a 24-hour doorman and sits in a prized location, just minutes from West Chelsea’s best spots.

Will she or won’t she? Only time will tell.

Swank bachelor pads are all the rage for Hollywood’s A-list. When there isn’t a woman in the picture, it’s pretty much assumed that Hollywood’s high rollers will be living large in an ultra-posh bachelor pad. After his recent split with Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher was seen spending hours at a $10.8m Hollywood Hills hideaway. Now, we’re hearing rumblings that the latest unmarried actor on the hunt for his perfect home is none other than funnyman Jim Carrey.

Carrey has been on a lengthy hunt for New York City pads in the $5-$8 million dollar range, but he recently decided to step it up a notch and toured a lavish $13.65 million dollar townhome at 233 West 20th Street in the chic Chelsea neighborhood.

Clocking in at 6-bedrooms, 6 full and 4 half bathrooms and more than 7,000 square feet, the listing claims that “no detail has been overlooked in the painstaking renovation of this 25-foot wide townhouse.” While the home was built in 1824, the upgrades make this home seem brand new. Stretched over six luxuriously appointed floors, plus a garden level, this home makes ingenious use of its size.

Upon entering the townhome, a grand entrance foyer with an oversized passenger elevator welcomes visitors and a bright and cheerful living room beckons. One flight above is the grand master suite, including two full bathrooms and an enormous windowed dressing room. Above, four additional bedrooms, and three more bathrooms round out the living quarters. A separate retreat atop the house are perfect for entertaining; here, a family room and parlor, connected via a kitchen, is designed for privacy and comfort. Crowning this magnificent New York City home is a sun-soaked solarium, flanked by terraces to the north and south.

At the garden level, you’ll find a spectacular custom-designed Neff kitchen that opens fluidly into the adjacent garden. This level also houses a staff room with en suite bath.

If Carrey does decide to make an offer, he’d be the proud owner of one enviable and over-the-top bachelor pad.

          $23,000 a month

According to our friends at Curbed,  fashion designer and icon Marc Jacobs has just vacated the Chelsea penthouse rental that he’s been shacking up in since 2009. Jacobs has been renting while anxiously awaiting the completion of a full renovation of his brand-new townhome.  According to New York Magazine, Jacobs’ new home is one of six built as part of Superior Ink, the much-buzzed-about Robert A.M. Stern–designed condo project.

As it turns out, Jacobs wasn’t the only recognizable head to ever lay on the pillows at 252 7th Avenue.  The 2,062-square-penthouse at the Chelsea Mercantile actually belongs to former New York Ranger and current Montreal Canadien hockey star Scott Gomez.

If you’re interested in taking over the lease from Marc, prepare to pony up $23,000 a month (that’s $8k MORE than the $15k Marc was paying). Seem steep? Perhaps you can justify the cost, since the 3 bedroom, 3  bathroom home comes fully-furnished. It’s a classic New York City penthouse with an expansive furnished terrace, making it the perfect setting for cocktail parties.

The home is currently configured as two bedrooms with den, and features a full kitchen, entertainment system and sweeping city views of the Hudson and Downtown skyline. Designed with high ceilings and a huge terrace, this Penthouse feels more like a home than an apartment. The open kitchen comes complete with Subzero, Miele, and Viking appliances.

As if a fashion designer and clothes hound like Marc Jacobs would have it any differently, the penthouse has abundant closet space and also comes with a washer/dryer and additional storage unit in the basement. The Chelsea Mercantile is one of Chelsea’s premier full-service buildings boasting full-time doormen, concierge, valet, gym, roof deck, childrens play room, and bicycle storage.
