Ashton Kutcher just sold his sleek Hollywood Hills bachelor pad for $9,925,000!

The ‘Two and a Half Men” actor bought the sleek hills pad two years ago, paying $8.455 million. In May 2014, it was rumored that he was quietly shopping it for $12,000,000.

In 2012, he rented the pad for a rumored $50,000 a month for a couple months before officially making it his. At the time that he bought, he was recently separated from now-ex-wife Demi Moore and needed a new place to call home. Shortly after moving into his bachelor pad, Kutcher stepped out with former ‘That 70′s Show” co-star Mila Kunis. Two years later, the duo are engaged and expecting their first child – a girl!

With all those life changes, Kutcher’s spectacular bachelor pad doesn’t exactly scream “family home.” It was rumored that Mila wanted to bring up baby in a more family-friendly home, and those rumors were confirmed when the duo snapped up a very family-friendly place in Beverly Hills for about $10,000,000.

With a new family home and a baby due any minute, it was time for Kutcher to part with his former party pad. In the same vein,  Mila just listed her single girl spread nearby, asking $3,995,000.

With their bachelor and bachelorette pad sell-offs in full swing, Kutcher’s glassy house had to go. The three-story home overlooks Lake Hollywood with fully retractable walls of glass. The floating dining room area opens to stunning views. The home also has a state-of-the-art gourmet kitchen, private screening room, bar area and gym/massage room. The striking master suite boasts ample use of glass and wood, magnificent views and a spa-like master bath. A variety of outdoor spaces include enclosed gardens, outdoor rooms, infinity pool, cantilevered decks and an open sky terrace.

Fun Fact: Justin Bieber, who recently sold his Calabasas home to Khloe Kardashian, was very, very interested in purchasing the home in 2011, but Ashton swooped in and bought it out from under him. The buyer remains unknown, but with Bieber’s current issues with his neighbors, this could have been a good buy for the young bad boy.

      Rumor Alert!

According to multiple reports, including the Los Angeles Times, actor Ashton Kutcher is quietly shopping his sleek Hollywood Hills bachelor pad for $12 million.

The ‘Two and a Half Men” actor bought the sleek hills pad two years ago, paying $8.455 million. He rented the pad for a rumored $50,000 a month for a couple months before officially making it his. At the time that he bought, he was recently separated from now-ex-wife Demi Moore and needed a new place to call home.

With all those life changes, Kutcher’s current (albeit spectacular) pad doesn’t exactly scream “family home.” It’s been rumored that Mila wanted to bring up baby in a more family-friendly home, thus why this home is now being quietly floated as an off-market listing.

For a buyer looking for a bachelor pad-style home with every bell and whistle, this could be the perfect buy. The three-story home overlooks Lake Hollywood with fully retractable walls of glass. The floating dining room area opens to stunning views. Price

        $1,405,000

Actor Ryan Reynolds has just sold his home high above the Sunset Strip for $1,405,000 – a loss of $310,000.

The home was purchased by the actor in October 2007 for $1,715,000. After holding onto the home for nearly 7 years, Reynolds listed the place for sale, so he could close that chapter of his life and be fully invested in his new life in Bedford, NY with new wife Blake Lively.

Not unlike a messy breakup, it took a considerable amount of time for Ryan to be fully untangled from this Los Angeles home. He placed it on the open market in the fall of 2009 with an asking price of $1,900,000. The home wasn’t in as high demand as Ryan Reynolds himself, so he took it off the market six months later.

It came back onto the market in July 2011 with an asking price of $1,690,000. With no movement, Reynolds was forced to chop another $91,000 off, to bring the asking price to $1,599,000. No buyer stepped up, so Reynolds took the home off the market until July 2013, when it popped back onto the market with the same $1,599,000 asking price he was hoping to get in 2011. 2.5 years and another $100,000 price chop later, market conditions worked in Reynold’s favor and he was able to find a buyer willing to pay $1,405,000, and the deal closed on January 4, 2014.

The home’s listing describes it as a “sophisticated Hollywood Hills private home…at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac.” The home boasts a private entrance though walled and gated courtyard. Amenities include a newer roof, hardwood floors, solar heating, tank-less water heater and French doors throughout. The 1,789 square feet includes 2 bedrooms, 2.5 remodeled bathrooms, and a cook’s kitchen. The home is ideal for indoor/outdoor living with a gorgeous patio for entertaining and a landscaped yard with walkways overlooking canyon views.

Annie Challis of Keller Williams represented Reynolds as his listing agent.

Jamie Kennedy, the Los Angeles-based actor best known for his role as geeky Randy Meeks in the ‘Scream’ trilogy and a smattering of other roles, now has something else to scream about – he’s still trying to sell his stunning Los Feliz home.

Back in July 2012, Kennedy listed his 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom, 2,400 square foot home for $1,900,000. More than a year later, it’s back on the market for $1,899,000 – just $1,000 less than he wanted last time around. Public records show that he purchased the super slick Los Feliz-neighborhood home on July 9, 2007 for $2,150,000.

Kennedy’s for-sale home is private and gated, and according to the first listing, it has been “re-imagined & updated for today’s lifestyle” – which basically means it has been meticulously remodeled.

Behind the gates and glassy exterior, the house flows seamlessly with all rooms in perfect proportion. The public rooms and master bedroom feature walls of glass and pocket doors that disappear, effectively blurring the lines between indoors and out. Once outside, a hip, hotel style entertaining space with built-in bar and dining area, hot tub, pool and cabana with bathroom and shower allow for incredible entertaining all year long.

The chef’s kitchen is perfectly positioned for entertaining. A ‘true master bedroom suite‘ features a walk-in closet, fireplace, multimedia wall projection system and a luxurious spa bathroom. This house affords chic hotel-style living in the sought-after neighborhood of Los Feliz, minutes from Griffith Park, prized shopping and hip restaurants.

Burt Bakman of Keller Williams now holds the listing.

Reality TV star and Kardashian step-brother Brody Jenner has just dropped $1,895,000 on a quaint and quiet Malibu hideaway.

According to property records, Bruce Jenner‘s son closed on the 3 bedrooms, 3 bathroom, 1,517 square foot home on October 11, 2013.

With his new Malibu digs, Brody is now neighbors with his brother Brandon and his wife Leah, who recently dropped $1.455 million on a rundown Malibu teardown that they will likely rebuild into their dream home. Their dad isn’t that far away either! After secretly splitting from Kardashian Momager and matriarch Kris Jenner earlier this year, Brody’s dad Bruce Jenner also became a Malibu resident when he rented a beachfront Malibu home for $14,500 a month after moving out of the Kardashian compound in Calabasas.

Brody’s new Malibu home is a rare gem and came onto the market for the very first time this summer. Very private, the 4+ acre home also has a guest house and is set among the oaks and on a running creek. The existing home is an updated rustic cottage with hardwood floors, wood burning fireplaces, ocean view and plenty of usable land to potentially expand the home. In a unique Malibu location, Jenner’s new property has land and plenty of room for horses, but is just seconds to the beach.

British bad boy actor/comedian Russell Brand has just splashed out $2.224 million on a hilltop bachelor pad.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Brand’s new pad hilltop home was once owned by the great Laurence Olivier. The residence is 4,800 square foot, multi-story mansion high in the Hollywood Hills. Built in 1926 and designed by architect Selden Price, the home is nestled into a steep hillside and has incredible panoramic city views.

Fully restored by the previous owner, the gothic-feeling estate has voluminous spaces and dramatic flying buttress arched ceilings and doorways. The entry level is comprised of a spacious living room, an outdoor dining terrace over-looking the canyon and city below, a formal dining room and kitchen with high-quality finishes. Down one flight of stairs, Brand’s lower level includes a master suite, 2 guest bedrooms and an office, all of which open to the incredible views. Walk down yet another level and you’ll find a state-of-the-art screening room, studio apartment with separate entrance and a sprawling outdoor deck and yard over-looking the view – perfect for entertaining!

Brand’s new purchase is his first big real estate move after splitting from ex-wife Katy Perry. While Brand is skating into a new place in the Hills, Perry is having a heck of a time selling their former love nest, which was just price-chopped a second time, bringing the asking price to more than half a million less than what she paid for it in 2011. But don’t cry for Katy – she’s since upgraded to a $11.2 million-dollar Hollywood compound.

Billy Rose of The Agency represented the seller and Blanche A D’Souza of Keller Williams Realty Brentwood was Brand’s agent.

When it comes to real estate, Vin Diesel doesn’t move ‘Fast.’ The “Fast & Furious” star has held onto his first Hollywood Hills home for more than a decade, choosing to stay put in his modest bachelor pad instead of trading up to a mega mansion.

Diesel first made a name for himself after appearing in hit flicks like  “Saving Private Ryan” and “Boiler Room,” and he took his movie star paychecks and plunked down $562,500 in February 2000 for a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 1,517 square foot home on a quiet street in the Hollywood Hills.

13 years later, Diesel wants $1,300,000 for the walled and gated hideout that the listing calls “a perfect hideout for a celebrity or those who seek privacy and serenity.” In true Los Angeles style, the home has outdoor spaces that create the perfect balance of indoor/outdoor living. An open floor plan is punctuated by a living room with fireplace and high-beamed ceiling with skylights. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom featuring sunken tub and steam shower. Outside, a large backyard has a pool and spa.

Property records show Diesel was previously asking $5,800 a month to rent the place out before making the decision to sell it off.

Kittean Clark of Rodeo Realty is representing Diesel in the sale.

Welcome to the house that Bieber built.

Scooter Braun, the young and massively successful impresario credited with discovering Justin Bieber on YouTube and introducing the world to “Bieber Fever,” is living large in an incredible Los Angeles estate. The home recently came to our attention via numerous glowing articles about Braun and his impressive journey to become one of the most successful talent managers of the current era. In May of this year, Forbes called Braun “Bieber’s Business Brain” and described how he hustles and makes musical magic happen from his Hollywood Hills estate. In an in-depth feature in the incomparable “The New Yorker” magazine, Braun was dubbed “The Mogul Who Made Just Bieber” and it was noted “the home is the center of operations for Braun’s blossoming mini-moguldom.”

The property that each of these reports are referring to is a large, modern 3-bedroom, 4-bathroom bachelor pad with walls of windows overlooking Los Angeles that Braun bought late last summer for $5.7 million from Kevin Lee Washington, an under-the-radar inventor.

As “The New Yorker” describes, “to get to the front door, you walk on slate stepping stones through a koi pond.” As you can see in the listing photos from 2011, the estate is big and bold. Braun also told the reporter that he wasn’t going to stop there: he’s buying the house next door to tear it down and put in a basketball court. That’s quite the compound – and the perfect location to launch and manage the careers of music’s current and upcoming megastars!

Before Braun bought the home, it was marketed as an “exciting architectural with enormous scale.” As any home must be in Los Angeles, Braun’s pad is perfect for indoor/outdoor living and grand entertaining. Naturally light and bright, the house is both stylish and sophisticated. It boasts a 22 foot entryway, great art walls and endless glass that showcases the massive views across Los Angeles. Just minutes up Doheny, Braun’s pad possesses a rare flat backyard and is punctuated by an infinity pool & spa, outdoor shower, cabana with plasma TV and  fire pit, kitchen and BBQ.

Now that’s something to sing about.

For once in his career, Derek Jeter is sliding away from home. His longtime New York City home, to be exact. Just this week, Jeter sold his 88th-floor penthouse to Brazilian business man Claudio Ferro for $15.5 million, as first reported by the New York Post.

Jeter bought the penthouse pad at Trump Tower directly from Donald Trump himself for $12.72 million in 2001. After almost a decade in the penthouse, he listed the East Side apartment for $20 million in 2010. No buyer stepped up to the plate and Jeter made the call to take it off the market. In April, the bonafide bachelor pad was back with a lower asking price – $17.95 million. Jeter didn’t get his full asking price for the home, but it was in no way a botched play. Jeter’s final sales price was still a cool $3 million more than what he paid for it.

So now the home is being traded to Ferro, and he’s getting an all-star abode! The 88th floor penthouse is set high amidst the tallest residential building on the eastside, the Trump World Tower. The location offers un-paralleled views of the Manhattan skyline and this particular penthouse has a bird’s eye view of the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, Bank of America building, One World Trade and other key landmarked buildings framed by the Brooklyn, Williamsburg and Verrazano Bridges and the East & Hudson Rivers – the picturesque views are unsurpassed. Complimenting the views – Jeter’s former penthouse features 16 foot floor-to-ceiling windows, 4 bedrooms, 5.5 baths with 77 feet in length of grand entertaining space encompassing the living room, billiards room and formal dining room. A Creston system controls the lighting, audio, video and privacy shades with one touch of a button. Adding warmth and texture to the apartment is a wood burning fireplace, ultra-suede wallpaper, slate mantle and hardwood flooring.

Word on the street is that Jeter hasn’t yet put down more of his millions on a new place. He’s been staying under the radar and hopping from hotel-to-hotel until he finds another bachelor pad. But don’t worry about him not having a place to call home. He still owns this sprawling estate in Florida.

Bachelor pads are notoriously stereotyped as messy, poorly-taken-care-of dwellings with clothes all over the floor and an empty refrigerator. Newly RELISTED for $17,950,000, this isn’t the first time Jeter attempted to hit a real estate home run. According to the fine folks at Curbed, Jeter tried to to unload the home for $20 million big ones two years ago.
