    Jerry Rice’s $13.88M Atherton, California home is hoping to be passed on to a new owner. Called “one of the finest private estates built in Atherton in recent years,” the 16,000 square foot home is 3 levels, with an elevator and over $2M in electronics, including security, fully automated smartphone features and a state-of-the-art home theater. The spectacular grounds include outdoor entertainment features and a 7 car garage. Atherton is home to Silicon Valley technology millionaires, old money and quite a few Bay Area athletes. Current and former Atherton residents include Steve Young, Roger Craig, Joe Montana, Jimmy Plunkett and others. Rice’s home took four years of design and construction work to complete, and was finished in 2001.
