Los Angeles, CA
Producer with such smash hits as Transformers, Pearl Harbor, Armageddon and more
4 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 7,919 square feet, pool
The 4 bedroom, 6 bathroom home has nearly 8,000 square feet of living space, and is primely located in the celebrity enclave between Bel Air and the Holmby Hills in Los Angeles.
Bay sold this estate because he recently completed construction on a brand new home that has been in the works since he purchased it in October 2009 for $10.9 million. To much outrage, he tore down an architecturally significant home to build an even bigger and more contemporary estate.
The new home is designed by Oppenheim Architecture + Design, and according to the architects’ description of the project, Bay’s new mansion is nestled into a hillside, spans 30,000 square feet and features a large theater, movie prop museum, parking, spa and two master bedroom modules hovering above the main living quarters.
Quite the project!
While Bay transitioned into his new home, he was also working on selling his former home, which he purchased in 1999 for $5.16 million and originally listed in December 2013 for $13.5 million.
The striking contemporary estate is off a long gated drive in prime Bel Air on a promontory w/ unobstructed views of the entire Los Angeles basin. Designed by the late architect Jack Warner, this extremely private home features clean, crisp lines, grand scale museum-like spaces, soaring ceilings, ideal indoor/outdoor flow and dramatic views from every room. A spacious central living room has a huge fireplace, a large formal dining room, and separate library/den that opens to a lush, private garden, pool & spa.
Other amenities include a state-of-the-art theatre (naturally), wine cellar, and gorgeous wood & stone floors.
David Offer of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services represented Bay in the sale.
Holmby Hills, CA
The "unsellable" estate sat on the market for more than $7 years, with a $125 million price tag
50,000 square foot home on 4.6 acres, 600 foot tree-lined driveway, pool, 3,000 square foot wine cellar
One of the world’s most incredible ‘mega-mansions’ just had a mega sale!
The world famous ‘Fleur De Lys’ mansion in the Beverly Hills enclave of Holmby Hills just sold to ‘junk bond king’ Michael Milken for $102 million IN CASH, as first reported by Lauren Beale at the Los Angeles Times.
Fleur De Lys was sold by socialite Suzanne Saperstein, who custom-built the mansion in 2002 with her then-husband, Metro Networks founder and billionaire David Saperstein. They divorced just three years after the home was completed and she received the property as part of her divorce settlement. She first listed property in 2007 for $125 million and never once wavered on the asking price.
The estate is 50,000 square feet of living space, which includes innumerable rooms, a 3,000 square foot wine cellar, a grand ballroom, a marble-floored two-story entry hall, gold paneled ceilings and much more grandeur.
Outside, two motor courts, a 600-foot tree-lined driveway, a pool, spa and sprawling lawns are just mere highlights of the 4.6 acre estate.
Los Angeles-based super agent Kurt Rappaport of the Westside Estate Agency represented Saperstein in the sale and Fred Bernstein, also of the Westside Estate Agency, represented the Milken, who reportedly beat out billionaires from England and China in a bidding war for the pricey estate.

Procreating Kardashian sister and her longtime boyfriend
4 bed, 5 bath, 5,199 square feet, pool
Kourtney Kardashian and longtime boyfriend Scott Disick have just sold their home in Calabasas!
According to the Los Angeles Times, Kourtney and Scott found a buyer and made a deal for $2,975,000, which is less than their $3,499,000 asking price, but still a nice $1.2M more than the $1.7M that they paid for the 4 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom, 5,199 square foot Colonial-style abode in December 2010.
Kourtney and interior designer Jeff Andrews spent months meticulously decorating the home in a style that Disick describes as “Alice in Wonderland meets Beetlejuice.” The buyer was smitten with some of their decor choices, as the LA Times is also reporting that the buyer paid an additional $125,000 for select furnishings.
Parting with the home will be tough for Kourtney, who told Domaine.com that she loves “every single thing about this house, but I’m excited to take on a new project.”
She’s already found that next big project: she and Scott recently purchased retired NFL star Keyshawn Johnson’s estate just down the street, paying $8.495,000 to upgrade to the 8 bedroom, 9 bathroom, 11,746 square foot home.
When Kourtney and Scott listed this just-sold home, they said it was because they needed more space. “Our family is bigger since we moved in,” Kourtney told Domaine.com. “I’d like to have a guest room and more space outside for the kids.” They’re definitely getting that coveted space in their new 1.86 acre property.
Another bonus? A built-in babysitting nearby. Recently-divorced sister Khloe Kardashian just bought Justin Bieber’s house down the street!

Pacific Palisades, CA
Grammy-winning pop star
11,000 square feet, 7 bedrooms, 9 baths, pool
After moving out of her massive mansion due to stalkers and burglars, Rihanna’s former Pacific Palisades home is officially on the market with a $14,995,000 price tag!
The Barbados-born beauty moved into the home in December 2012, and her Southern California paradise quickly became a nightmare. After just a few short months in the home, trespassers, stalkers and attempted burglars have all been arrested at or near the property, prompting RiRi to flee the urban oasis for her own safety. In the most extreme case, a 27-year-old man was arrested on the property after showing up multiple times, claiming to be her “future husband.”
The globetrottering Grammy winner has since had ‘her people’ move her belongings out of the home and into another undisclosed location, freeing up her former home for new residents. It was for rent in November 2013 for $65,000 a month!
Reports say she’s since decamped to a penthouse in New York City. She also reportedly purchased a $22 million villa in her native Barbados earlier this year.
Built in 2010, the estate is nestled in the hills of Los Angeles, and features a neutral-to-warm color scheme throughout, with sandy walls and dark wood and tile flooring from head to toe. The home exudes a strong modern-Caribbean influence, offering simple architecture and sleek finishes, with a slight twist. Reminiscent of a tropical villa, almost every room comes complete with walls opening to the backyard allowing for plenty of natural light and easy access to the pool and spa. A super-modern kitchen offers 14-foot ceilings, stainless steel appliances, and a full bar. In addition to the pool and spa, the outdoor entertaining area offers a 6,000-square-foot garden area with outdoor BBQ, bar, and sundeck.
Aaron Kirman of the John Aaroe Group represents Rihanna’s listing.

It was recently reported that Packer was renting a stunning Beverly Hills home for $100,000 a month. Former frontwoman of girl group 'The Pussycat Dolls' and judge on The X Factor
4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 4,014 square feet, views
Scherzinger was at the top of her game a few years back, when the Pussycat Dolls were tearing up the charts. Since her days as a ‘Doll,’ she’s had some solo hits and a gig at the judges table on both the US and UK versions of the ‘X Factor.’
Reports have emerged that she just quit her X factor gig, but things are about to get really busy and exciting for Nicole. Just this week, reports emerged that she and boyfriend, Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton, were engaged!
On the home front back in Hollywood, Nicole is selling the 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom, 4,014 square foot Hills estate she bought from Daisy Fuentes for $2,165,000. Now listed for $2,349,000, Scherzinger is likely to eek out a small profit if she can get full asking price for the home.
The gorgeous Mediterranean-style home sits on a 1.5-acre knoll and has no immediate neighbors – perfect for a celebrity that craves a little time out of the spotlight.
There are expansive views from every room, many outdoor living spaces and plenty of space for a potential pool.
Inside, Nicole’s home has a 2-story living room with soaring ceilings, a spacious dining room, 3 gas/wood burning fireplaces, and a gourmet eat-in kitchen/great room combination with granite counters, stainless appliances and oodles of room for entertaining.
The generous master suite features an over-sized closet, ample storage and a stunning marble bath with separate stall shower. Guest bedrooms are located upstairs, one has a large outdoor terrace. Downstairs is an additional bedroom, which could also be used as an office.
This home offers outstanding seclusion and serenity within a star-studded neighborhood. Perhaps Nicole will keep the streak alive and sell to another celeb!

Brazilian supermodel and star quarterback of the New England Patriots
5 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, 13,890 square feet, pool, moat, gated
Tom Brady and his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen just made an stunning offseason move – they listed their incredible custom-built Los Angeles estate for $50,000,000!, as first reported by TMZ.
The genetically-gifted duo spent years waiting out the completion of this custom estate, making it’s ‘for-sale’ status a bit shocking. They unveiled the home’s beautiful interiors in the October 2013 issue of Architectural Digest and Tom said, “We built this house as a sanctuary for our family—a place where we can enjoy being together.”
While Brady is based in New England for much of the year, Gisele’s work takes her to Los Angeles frequently, and many assumed that the two would settle in this estate when Brady retired from football and awaited his Hall of Fame appointment.
Alas, that won’t be happening.
While we can’t know for sure why they’re selling, we can assume that the sale of the estate is a money-making move by the multi-millionaire couple, who picked up the vacant lot for $11,750,000 in August 2008 and sunk millions into its construction, which was completed in 2011.
Tom and Gisele’s for-sale estate is undeniably incredible Richard Landry-designed European country estate on almost 4 acres. The French Chataeu-style home is covered in imported limestone, and every single element of the design and materials are top-notch.
Offering stunning vistas of the Pacific Ocean and incredible canyon views, the home has 5 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms spread out over 13,890 square feet, all overlooking the most incredible infinity pool and spectacular lawns, gardens, and pathways.
Despite selling this home, they won’t be without adequate shelter. In October 2013, Tom and Gisele spent $14 million on a chic NYC condo, and they’re also building a comparable estate in the Boston area.
Kurt Rappaport and and Stephan Shapiro of the Westside Agency are representing the listing.

Married actress/actor duo who met on the set of "I Know What You Did Last Summer"
5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 7,620 square feet, pool, gym
Purchased for $2,450,000 by the unmarried duo in October 2001, they went on and made it official when they wed on September 1, 2002. Now more than 10 years and two kids later, the duo are still rock solid – but are looking for a change up when it comes to their living situation.
This longtime estate is located on Stonehenge lane, inside the prestigious 24 hour guard-gated community of Bel Air Crest.
Gellar and Prinze’s gated estate boasts privacy, grand scale rooms, an open floor plan and exquisite grounds.
The extraordinary gourmet kitchen, featuring beautiful cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and center island, overlooks the family room and sun-filled breakfast room. Nearby, the family room is complete with a drop down screen and projector, high ceilings, fireplace, and french doors that open to the patio area, with waterfalls, pool, spa, and BBQ.
The luxurious master suite features 15-foot ceilings, a fireplace, sitting area, secluded balcony, custom dual walk-in closets and dual baths – a recipe for a happy marriage! This estate also has a unique lower level with bonus room, guest quarters, sunroom and gym.
Freddie and Sarah Michelle sent celebrity real estate watchers into a tizzy when they purchased a Los Angeles home for $6.1 million in August 2013, only to put it BACK onto the market on March 5, 2014 with a price tag of $7,900,000. Whether they’re flipping – or just flip-flopping – is still TBD, as that home is no longer listed for sale.
Perhaps the duo decided to hold onto their newer home and list this longtime estate instead.

Comedic Actor with hits like Swingers, Wedding Crashers and The Break Up
6 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, 7,308 square feet, salt water pool, gated
First reported by the Los Angeles Times, the ‘Wedding Crashers’ and ‘Old School’ actor was identified as the buyer for Kiffin’s 7,308 square foot Craftman-style home, which sold on February 28, 2014. The pad has 6 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms and a world-class backyard that features a large salt water pool and spa, fire pit, guest house, outdoor kitchen, large, gated dog run and mature landscaping.
Inside the home, Vaughn will now be able to stare at soaring ceilings, a country-style kitchen with commercial-grade appliances and a large family room.
Kiffin was fired as head coach of the USC football program in September 2013, after the season started with an abysmal 3-2 record. A brutal blowout loss at Arizona State sealed his fate. He has since moved on to a role as offensive coordinator for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
As for Vaughn, things couldn’t be better. He and his wife recently welcomed their second child and have been on a bit of a real estate roll as of late. Less than a year ago, they spent nearly $4 million for a home in La Canada Flintridge, and in July 2013, he put his Chicago apartment up for rent for $9,500 a month.
