"I drive to work. No public transportation in Waxhaw. I have to leave before 6:30 to get to work on time, otherwise commute to uptown can take over 1 hour."

"Waxhaw is quiet and quaint. It’s old fashioned and frozen in time perfectly. Everyone here usually smiles in passing or waves. Most everyone knows each other, but it’s forever growing. This once small town is becoming more popular for people wanting to escape the city."
