"I was born & raised here on a farm that was in my family 5 generations. The farm was sold long ago & I moved away for almost 40 yrs. I'm back now, much has changed & grown, but still has the safe, small, home town feeling. This would still be a great place to raise kids without much of the big city crime & worries. The schools have expanded, most are new & provide a wonderful education! Many large corporations have plants here, providing more opportunity than bigger cities. "

"Great area just not much to do for the children. Schools are really good. Not many parks in this area but there are things to do in surrounding areas like Charlottesville or Harrisonburg"

"I live here! I live in the first section built in the new section of what is commonly known as Augusta Farms. I love my neighborhood. It is quiet, clean, safe and friendly. Most everyone on this block have lived here over 9 years. We aren't nosey neighbors, however, we all "Keep a Close EYE Out for those who Do NOT Belong." There are at least two Rentals on my block. People move in and out regularly? Don't really know why, probably because the rental prices are really high and they have probably found something compariable to rent or advanced to the point of purchasing. Don't blame either way. Overall, the little town of Stuarts Draft is 3 miles away with excellent schools just 1 mile away, 2 miles from I64, 3 miles to the hospital, 9 miles either way to Waynesboro or Staunton, the crime rate is virtually Non-Existent and It has a "Genuine Feeling of Safety". I've always felt the "genuine Country Living Experience" even though technically we are not in the country... Really, the only negative I would gripe about is the condition of the roads in this huge sub-division.. I live on the "main drag" so to speak.... which needs TOTAL REPAVING... however, EVERY ROAD in this sub-division NEEDS REPAVING.... and for the amount of taxes we pay on each of our properties.... We really don't get our moneys' worth. Overall, I LOVE my home and my block of neighbors. Very Blessed to live here. "
