"I have loved living here. The foothills are beautiful year round. The neighbors are welcoming and friendly. Our street has very little traffic so our cats can run across it without danger and our kids can bike all over the place up here. The community is very supportive: people throw benefit dinners and auctions to support people in need and good causes and the whole town shows up. If you keep your eyes open, there are things to be involved with all year. There are beautiful places to hike: my favorite is Gold Bug hot springs which has lovely natural clear pools, butterflies and all kinds of flowers. There are tasty places to eat: my favorite is Last Chance Pizza. There are three natural health stores: my favorite is Herbs of the World. We have a grocery store with a surprisingly large selection and cheaper prices than big city grocery stores, at least for the natural products and fresh vegetables and fruits buy. There are great services for children with disabilities through Human Dynamics and at the schools. There is hunting, fishing, a lake we like to kayak around, a City Pool, parks, and a lot of wonderful churches. I love this area and would recommend it."
