"Need a car in the area for down the hill type needs but the small town has a few things. Restaurants, hair salons, nail salon, grocery store, dallor store and a few other things. "

"By automobile it takes about twenty minutes to get down the 330 highway to Highland and about 30 minutes to downtown San Bernardino. "

"There are activities available for children, but not much in the way of adult education programs. Teens don’t have much to do after school, either programs or jobs available, which could and sometimes lead to drug issues. The main arteries are busy highways so there will probably be a lot of driving involved in school transportation. But there are some great sports available, especially in the winter. There are several independent Churches in the area, but not a lot of mainstream religious groups other than Roman Catholic. Hopefully, if you are living up the hill, it’s because you want to spend more time with your family. "

"They would not like your dogs being outside when it’s cold or when your dogs constantly bark. They like seeing you out on walks with your dogs"

"Our neighbors hold a very fun Halloween party every year and invite their friends family and neighbors to join in in the costumes candy and prizes. I also love all the Christmas lights in Running Springs, especially when we get a white Christmas!"

"I’ve lived in this area of running springs for almost two years. It’s quiet, spacious and private. There’s very little traffic and I love going on walks around the neighborhood "

"Nearly everyone has a medium to large breed dog. But dogs often escape their yards and packs can be seen wandering. There’s no dog park."

"well I am sure some of the local churches have some kind of local events, I do know Running Springs town holds a parade. Also Lake Arrowhead Ballet will be holding a nutcracker performance at Rim of the world High school "

"Everyone keeps their dogs on leashes. Most pets are well trained and owners are generally friendly as well. You just have to keep an eye out for wildlife. "

"Used to live here on Live Oak. The roads are very dangerous and people are very shady."
