"I’ve lived here for a couple of years. The neighborhood is has a residential and cozy feel and is close to downtown, public transportation and to several grocery stores. People are fairly friendly and there seem to be a mixture of people(older, young families, singles)here there are a few coffee shops, restaurants in walking distance. It’s close to Willamette street which has a great biking and walking trail with an awesome view."

"This is an awesome neighborhood to be conveniently located to i5, downtown, good food and classic Portland neighborhoods. The Max and bus stops are very close as well as parks and a library. Very dog and outdoor cat friendly. The corner stores can be kind of sketchy at night. Unfortunately you deal with prejudices and racial profiling all over Portland and this neighborhood is no exception. I’ve personally received direct heckling from a neighbor that has lived here a long time therefore felt it was within her rights to snoop through my vehicle and make false accusations. "

"Easy access to sr 500 and 205. Neighboring orchards park, Vancouver mall and various strip malls nearby as well as grocery. Up and coming part of town, just like the rest of it. "

"There is an amazing unofficial off-leash dog park nearby (the gulch, the puppy pit). Also, NOPO Paws a wonderful pet store, and many businesses with water bowls out front."
