"I have lived in this home for nearly 9 years. The neighborhood is safe and I feel safe taking a walk even after midnight. The neighbors are very friendly and we watch out for each other. Whenever one of us plans to be away for a few days or even a few weeks we talk to each other and make sure everything is safe. All the neighbors take pride in maintaining our homes inside and out. This is a great place to live. Also we welcome new neighbors into the area whatever their age or background. It’s just a friendly and warm area to call our neighborhood and we are close to shopping, medical care and a variety of restaurants. "

"It’s close to downtown and grocery store. There are plenty of things to do like go to the mountains., lakes, rivers, Oregon and California coasts, Redwoods and wineries. We also have great restaurants and theater venues nearby. The Rogue River is close by and the highways are close as well."

"Very special area, sought out area to live. Neighbors say hi to each other. If mail gets delivered wrong they always go out of their way and watch out for packages delivered. "

"More money goes into maintaining the East side than any other part of Medford. The "good" areas are hit & miss. As always more crime & poverty in the south but there are some parts of the south that are okay. Like I said, hit & miss."

"Near elementary school, middle school and high school. near hospital, Walmart and Fred Meyer, Panda express, Starbucks, banks, shares, Carls Jr, Jimmy Johns, grocery outlet, liquor store, Big 5, Shari's and Harry and David, McGraths. We've lived her the past 20 years. we've loved this area."

"Everyone takes pride in upkeep of their home and very friendly neighbors. I have lived here for 8 years. Very safe and quiet neighborhood. Virtually no crime and all homes very well maintained and beautiful lawns. I am comfortable taking a walk any time day or night. Very close to Rogue Medical center as well as shopping. Extremely quiet and low traffic street and neighborhood "

"East Medford is very nice I have liver here almost 3 years i love it. i dont hear the same about the west side but i wouldn't know. Beautiful area and good people live here. "

"Going into Medford or onto the freeway southbound takes so long. There are 3 major intersections that get backed up and you get caught off so much. A 5 minute drive from anywhere else will take 20 minutes sometimes just to get to the freeway."

"Nothing. It's typical Medford small town. Almost feels like suburbia but not quite as nice. It's mostly baby boomers and retirees. The schools are not good but it is pretty safe. "

"the place here is great for people with dogs. all you need is a doggie bag to make sure you keep our sidewalks clean. also there is a park close by where I live and it makes it better since I have dogs as well. I have 2 small dogs. i say yes dog owners will love living here."

"Great access to shopping, hospitals, businesses and restaurants. It’s an extremely quiet neighborhood. I have lived here for 7 years. Easy access to I-5. No traffic in the subdivision whatsoever. Friendly area. Neighbors are always willing to watch your house if you are away for just a few days to months. When my family was ill I went back to Chicago for over 3 months. The neighbors kept me informed and watched things for me I don’t have a security system and don’t feel I need to pay for one. I have been a widow for 6 years and feel very safe here. "

"Nothing is organized that I know of in our SW neighborhood in Medford. Not much of a community. No bike paths, green spaces, community center, street lamps and inconsistent sidewalks make it somewhat unfriendly. "

"Downtown is walking distance and bus stops at the top of the street. Movie theater is also walking distance as well as the local farmers market. Many parks are within walking distance as well as dog parks and a grocery store. Access to the bike path is also very close. "

"Movie in the park events are a great gathering for families and I felt completely safe with hundreds of people there in and out of cars for the movies. Very cute way to entertain the community. There is a lot of downtown live music events in bars and also out in public stage area. Movie night is definitely the best thing I’ve seen in Medford by far. I was seriously impressed. "

"yes my neighborhood has good access to transportation and it's easy to get around right here it's close to Phoenix or you got a little bit of a walk to Medford if you needed to walk I like to hear at the beginning of the park at is on the did buses that go through Medford the transit buses route so that's convenient otherwise I have a car and I just drive I like the Exspress way. I never thought about how many times I have had to stop for the lights . "

"people walk their dogs all the time. however, this is near a very busy road. my road is also busy for a neighborhood. The main road I live next to is not safe for people or dogs. many incidents involving dog or person vs vehicle has happened here."

"There are a lot of dog walkers, but the road has a lot of traffic. It’s right by the park though, and dog park. So it’s not too bad of an area for dog walkers. "

"Medford parks have an urban element. Better to spend an afternoon in central point or Ashland the Bear Creek green way is a wonderful way to get all the way through Medford on bike "
