"We have back to school picnics in the park. We also have parades and Christmas decorating contests. The children are well behaved while playing outside with their friends. Neighbors sometimes shovel the snow for you in the winter. "

"Block Party is the only event that this block has had since I moved here a year ago. Most of the neighbors are fine I cannot say that for all. But the block itself is well above my expectations "

"None maybe the Maywood fest who knows that’s the only active event that frequently occurs here in contrast to the neighboring cities and villages we are subpar with the amenities available as well as things to do in the town "

"I've lived in this neighborhood for over 18 years, and unfortunately it's value stated to decline due to high taxes and other issues. This past year there have been some improvements, new housing and upgrades. There is still no grocery store or place to get fresh produce, hopefully that is being planned"

"It’s a park where you can let your dog run freely. It’s plenty of people with children so letting your dog run loose is a no no. Especially if your dog bites!"

"Maywood is a great place to invest. The homes are beautiful and the neighborhood is improving. The city needs more commercial properties and investments, but there are obvious signs of improvements happening. I am a Maywood native and have graduated from grade school and high school and am still friends with retime I grew up with. "
