"I love living in Mission Lake! It is clean, safe, friendly, affordable and close to wonderful burgeoning spots like Martin City and Red Bridge. Lots of great restaurants near by and close enough to great Leawood shopping and dining without the price tag! "

"It's a perfect combination of wooded peace and freeway access. The neighborhood is quiet and low traffic. One end is bordered by the golf course and the other by a walking trail. The Blue River runs nearby."

"I have lived in Mission Lake since 1982 and love it. A nice, quiet, safe community with the feel of living in the country, yet we're in the city. "

"this is a changing neighborhood. Always changing. It's gone from home wonership to rental/ownership and now that values have come down it has become very desired for home ownership again. It's a great first or last home place! Friendly, considerate and concerned home owners who watch out for one another and their neighborhood."
