"Clayton is a great area for school age kids. Clayton schools are one of the best in the country. Forest park is right next to Clayton; St Louis zoo, science center, art museum, and history museum "

"It’s very walkable. I can walk to grocery, cleaners or the post office within minutes. There are also unique home decor and clothing shops within the community. Also, it is the place to go for fine dining. An all around great place to live. "

"Dogs are plentiful. Owners keep them on leashes. I’m ok with good dogs walking off leash if they respond to voice commands. "

"People walk their dogs on a leash and ask to have dogs greet. Very friendly and considerate animal loving neighborhood. Folks do seem to prefer that dogs are on leash when other dogs in proximity. "

"There are lots of good schools. Small, large and apartment options for different budgets and preferences. Nice parks like Shaw, Forrest parks. There are plenty of nice stores and restaurants in the area."
