"It’s like a downtown area without it really being in downtown. You can enjoy the beach, parks, restaurants, bars by just walking. But the place is pretty saturated with people. So parking is tough. "

"It’s a giving community that is diverse and family oriented. We have incredible menagerie of birds- herons, peacocks, doves, parrots, owls. Most people own dogs and we have the best dog sitter next door. The walks here are peaceful and beautiful. "

"There are an increasing amount of homeless in the streets during day and night, we need to get adjusted on seeing them sleeping on the sidewalks and alleys, most of them have psychological problems and/or drug problems and we need to be careful on how to walk around them."

"It’s a pet friendly neighborhood with little traffic and pretty quiet at night. You can walk everywhere and reach downtown easily too. Lots of playgrounds and dog parks around and the dog beach is very close too. "

"It is a very dog friendly neighborhood. Our dog found a hole in garden fence twice and people took her back, carrying her. It’s very close to the dog beach too, we go there so often. Great atmosphere and dogs get to actually run finally "

"Lived here 12.5 years in this area and love 98% of it. People are great, neighborhood is beautiful! Draw backs: we have had our cars broken into multiple times, our mail stolen multiple times resulting in identity and CC theft, our deliveries stolen many times. "

"There are a lot of homeless in the streets, and they love to live around our houses, we leave them alone and they for the most part are not dangerous so we are very used to walk along their side when we are getting into our homes after work."
