"Dog owners are really responsible and aware of their surroundings. I usually like to switch streets when I see an oncoming dog to avoid any conflict regardless of the dog. Everyone seems to be really respectful. "

"I walk from my bedroom to my office. Nice to work from home. But when I do visit clients I drive. Getting out of Old Town can be a challenge. GW backs up and the Beltway is a circus in wheels."

"This is absolutely a dog friendly neighborhood. They are even welcome in the sidewalk cafes (on leash). Clean up after them though - cops will ticket (thank goodness). "

"Living in Old Town is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! No matter the season, there’s a parade, fireworks and throughout the year the Farmer’s Market. I can’t imagine living anywhere else in the DC Metro, except in DC itself. Be warned: there are lots of tourists in the area, so patience is a virtue, especially during the summer and holidays. "

"Beautiful Yates Garden neighborhood of gardens and unique townhomes. This is a jewel! Royal Street is right on the Mount Vernon hike/bike/run trail from Roslyn to Mount Vernon. Two blocks from private school and national park (Jones Point), 7 blocks from historic King Street. Bus connections a block away as well as a small neighborhood Safeway."
