"Ever growing and is a great central hub for all of the inner loop. Down side is crime but welcome to Houston. You meet all kinds of people in this neighborhood in a good way very versatile. "

"I've lived in Neartown-Montrose for over 20 yrs and I can't imagine living anywhere else in the city. Everything I need is within a 1 to 2 mile radius which makes it super convenient run errands. I see the same familiar faces daily which I feel makes it a bit more safer. It's super quiet at night too."

"Dog friendly up and coming neighborhood. Nice mixture of young professionals, families. Mix of architecture. Some new modern houses, some nicely maintained Victorian bungalows. Some projects for real estate investors. "
