"Jackson Heights has those hit or miss areas to live. Do your homework, ask questions, and most importantly know what it is you are looking for. If you want peace and quite move towards 35th and 34th Avenue. Beautiful properties and quite. Never the center area of Jackson Heights. For example, 37th or Roosevelt Avenue. Nightmare. The only plus about Jackson Heights the variety of restaurants, supermarkets, and good prices on food. "

"I've lived in this clean, tree lined neighborhood for over 30 years. The people are friendly, it is extremely diverse,(167 different languages spoken) and best of all everyone gets along. It has a great variety of restaurants, the best transportation at 74th St, (E,F,R,7) & close to post office, groceries, pharmacies, bakeries, houses of worship, buses to Manhattan, LGA and Rockaway beach. And it's a safe neighborhood."
