"they have a chili fest down here every year and they have some kind of festival at the library every year a lot of people show up Portland is not a bad area if you have friends down here that you can trust where I live at it's not so bad but you do always need to be watching your back I wouldn't mind having an apartment or house down here and bringing my son down "

"dope feinds every where dirty needles in the parks not what this area used to be.at all ! they took all the family owned bussinesses away and put up family dollar stores now only one conglomerate makes the money its the Pitts."

"Easy access to expressway, I never experience traffic and gas station or grocery nearby. It’s a good neighborhood, my neighbors are older and all speak and enjoy the space."

"This neighborhood isn’t all that great. Lots of abandoned houses and not much around. Often hear yelling and commotion on the street. 10 minutes from downtown Louisville."
