"I drive now, but I took public transportation and Muni when I was a kid. I didn't mind taking the Muni trains, and I still occasionally do when I go downtown. I do think the cost of public transportation is outrageous. If I'm not going downtown, I travel everywhere else in the vicinity by motor vehicle."

"It’s used to be a neighborhood for dogs except that when they closed The Great Highway it pushed a lot of traffic onto the residential streets and it’s not as safe anymore. "

"Great area for dog owners! There’s Golden Gate Park, Ocean Beach, Sunset Blvd, the Great Highway, and Fort Funston- all good places to walk your dog. Just be aware that there are Coyotes and to be cautious. Usually not a threat to other dogs."

"Outer sunset has a lot of public transportation to and from downtown and other parts of San Francisco. Close to shopping mall and a bunch of locally owned businesses. This district/community schools are a plus also."

"This neighborhood is down through the tube with homeless, homeless rv, trashy people around. Drug lords have been trying to open Marijuana stores. "

"This neighborhood is very quiet and safe feeling. We do not know any of our neighbors, which I wish was otherwise. The Sunset Reservoir Recreation Center is amazing - playground, gymnasium, tennis courts, basketball courts, community center, clean restrooms - it is such an asset to the community "
