"There are many parks in the area. There is also a lot of parking if you don’t mind walking a block in case there is none available in front of your destination."

"Certain streets are nice and quiet, downtown is not too far and neither is SOMA. Being downtown there is a large and vulnerable homeless population. I feel mostly safe aside from catcalls here and there, but I wouldn't walk around at night without my dogs. I have been approached by some unstable men a few times at night while walking them. "

"Lots of city festivals during the spring-fall timeframe. Even though we live within the city, it still has a small town feel."

"Easy and walkable. We have flexible hours so traffic is seldom an issue. Parking can be an issue for some, but we have a parking garage so again not an issue for us."

"There are parks and plenty of room to walk but there are not plenty of street lights and there’s lots of homeless people that can sometimes be aggressive "

"I’ve lived in Little Rock for 16 years and lived in this neighbor hood for 3. It is relatively quiet. Close to good schools. And easy to navigate to all other parts of Little Rock. "

"This is an ideal area for families or retirees. The houses have charm and are not cookie cutter. In the Quapaw area. Very safe and close to downtown and River Market area. Close to grocery stores and other stores."

"We lived in west Little Rock for nine years before moving Downtown. This is the best neighborhood in central Arkansas. It's like living in a small town surrounded by a city! We know almost all of our neighbors. It's safe and convenient. We bicycle to the River Market, the Art Center at McArthur Park, the River Trail (over twenty miles of biking/walking trails), the historic museums, and the Clinton Presidential Library/Museum. Lots of fine restaurants and fast food places. The State Capitol and Governor's Mansion remind us that we are a center of government (Federal, State, County, & Metro) and politics. "

"We live in this neighborhood and love it-- mostly for the charm of the older homes and friendly neighbors. Many homes are in disrepair. I'm a young woman, and I wouldn't feel safe walking my dogs after 10 pm. The nearby grocery store is pretty poor quality. The neighborhood is getting a Boulevard Bread Co.-- which adds incredible value in my gluttonous opinion. Community Bakery and Juanitas are also a few short blocks away-- but they're nothing to write home about."
