"Gentilly is very diverse, doesn’t flood (for the most part), and has some of the last affordable houses in New Orleans (and most of the houses have original hardwood floors 😻). A lot of my friends who range from late 20’s to early 40’s are buying here. The only thing we’re lacking is a bar and restaurant scene. Someone please give us more food and alcohol options! "

"There is no park close enough to walk to. There are lots of dogs in the neighborhood. If your dog barks at other dogs this will be a lot of trouble."

"There are a lot of dog owners in this neighborhood, and many of the houses have great yards. We are close enough to the lakefront to take our dog out there almost everyday. My dog loves living here"

"Conveniently located, established neighborhood. Very quiet street with friendly neighbors. Five minute drive to French Quarter, City Park and Lakefront/UNO campus. Easy access to interstate. Close to grocery stores, shops, bus stop and gas stations. Biker friendly."
