"Good access to busses and the light rail, but it’s more of a bike friendly neighborhood than walk friendly. My drive to any point in sac is 10-20 minutes depending on traffic and there’s some shops/food spots nearby so I don’t often need to leave my zip code. "

"Old growth trees and quaint bungalow homes...you can feel the history on every block. Neighbors are all nice and involved with the community and welcomed us when we moved here six months ago. We are close enough to downtown or the freeways to get to wherever we need to be. We are discovering new things about Sacramento every week."

"The best thing about this area is the nearly non-existent crime. Walking to light rail and bus routes takes just a couple minutes and we can get to most parts of the city. It's also great to be in walking distance to the zoo and Land Park."

"Curtis Park is one of the Premier Neighborhoods of the greater Sacramento area. Some homes historical in nature, many one off custom homes. Not easy to find a home for sale in this area. Most homes could still be owned by the heirs of the original owner. The streets are shaded by trees that have existed for generations. The actual Park is also shaded by historically aged trees, updated with a walk/run path that circles the park."
