Selling a home should you have a professional look at the home before I list?

Your inspector will not tell you whether he or she thinks the home is worth the money you are listing or offering.  Rather the inspectors job is to make you aware of repairs that are recommended or necessary.  A seller looks at it as an opportunity to renegotiate a price to accommodate repairs.

Do not fall in this trap a $250 inspection could save you 1000's depending on the inspector.  Don't get caught in a trap.
