Monthly update on the Oregon City real estate market for June 2012

The Oregon City real estate market finished April with 58 closed sales, which is up from the 46 & 42 closed sales recorded during the prior months of March and February respectively. Of the 58 closed sales in April, 16 were distressed properties (foreclosures/short sales) representing 28% of the closed sales for the month. As of the end of April, distressed properties accounted for 30% of the active listing inventory. There were 3 closed sales of homes valued over $500K during April and a total of 5 over the three month period of February – April.
