How Many Homes Should a Buyer in Columbus Look At?

Just imagine that you've decided to buy a new home.

You're excited to hit the road, go to open houses, and explore all the wonderful options Columbus and the surrounding area have to offer!

I've had many clients tell me that when they decide to buy, their first instinct is to search for as many homes as possible to look at it. But as you'll discover, and probably agree, looking at 7-10 homes may be the right amount for you.

How To Buy Your Home Quickly

Before you make the decision to buy a home, the key is to know exactly what you want to find. The easiest way to get started is to make a checklist of what's most important to you, what would be nice to have, and what's not a big deal.

When you hire me, we'll start by discovering what the most important things are to have in your new home. Then, we'll come up with a list of homes that best match your criteria.

If you thought buying a home was only about driving around to different properties, you'll be surprised to learn that it's really only about going to the 7-10 properties that best meet your needs.

If you want to look at more than ten homes or you don't have your list made out prior to hiring me, you could actually lose the home you want or have to pay a lot more for the one you want.

You can see how having your list before you hit the road is beneficial, can you not?

Why not get started on creating your home wish list now?

You'll discover it's a lot of fun!
