Qualify for a VA Loan In California After Being Unemployed

Lot's of veterans in California have been unemployed over the past few years just like a lot of the general population.  The good news is VA home loan requirements in many cases  do not require you to be back on your job that long after periods of unemployment to qualify for a VA purchase loan or VA refinance loan.

If you have been unemployed five months or less, you only have to be back on the job 30 days to qualify for a VA home loan in California.  If you have been unemployed six months or more you only have to be back working for six months to apply for a VA home loan.  It will have for VA loan approval if you are working in the same type of work as you were before your period of unemployment.
