As the boy scouts say, be prepared! (Because you never know what might happen if you get an unusual freeze â€“ well then you were at least prepared for it.)
This time we are going to provide you some useful information about those gutters around your house. As the trees start shedding their leaves, you will want to start cleaning those gutters but you might want to take a look at them if you havenâ€™t done this in a while. There are some individuals that donâ€™t even think about checking their gutters or even clean them out. If you choose to clean the gutters yourself Â then here are a few items you will need: a ladder, gloves, hose and garbage bags. Always keep in mind â€“ be careful when climbing a ladder.

- Fertilize your lawn: this is the best time to provide nutrients for winter when the top layer will be dormant
