Units for Sale: (compared to the same week in 2012)

For April 7, 2013 - April 13, 2013

New listings are up this week 3.80%.

Pendings are up this week 29.93%
Solds are up 30.90% 

 

As for Average Prices:  (compared to the same week in 2012) 

For April 7, 2013 - April 13, 2013

Sold average sales prices increased 33.21% to $324,654 from $243,722 in 2012. 

 

Current pendings = 4,893 pendings with an average list price of $288,664.  That is a 20.99% increase in the number of pending listings and a 8.63% increase in the average price of pendings compared to the same week in 2012 (4,044 & $265,736).

Preliminary March 2013 Data: 

Units for Sale: (compared to March 2012)

New listings are down less than 1% (0.37%).

Pendings are up 14.77%.

Solds increased by 32.98%.

Prelimenary data from the last 3 months shows New Listings up about 1%, Pending Listings up about 20% and homes Sold about 30%.

As the number of sold units continues to improve over previous years, March finishes strong. 

 

As for Average Prices:

The "New Listings" average list price is up 5.50% to $361,575.  In March 2012 the average list price was $342,713. 

Sold average sales prices increased 7.01% to $277,000.  For March 2012 it was $258,863.

That is a 27.13% decrease in active listings during the same week in 2012.
