So, You Don't Like The Red Sink?

Well, from time to time there are those listings that are really great but may have one or two features that just chase buyers away.   I've got one of those right now.  It's got a red sink...  Otherwise the house is great.  OK... it's also got wallpaper.

Besides these two minor issues the house is an extremely well built home.  A rare one story find for the area custom built on a prime one acre lot in a terrific Woodinville neighborhood.

The sellers understand the problem.  We've of course addressed the issue by dropping the price to compensate for the unique outdated features.   Therefore, the house is an extremely good deal for the current market.  Buyers still walk away...passing up a fabulous home that could be spectacular with a few minor cosmetic changes.

My solution!  A 203K loan,  yes, a loan that can make a home what you want not what a seller thinks will sell a home or an agent suggests a seller do to sell a home.   A 203K is a loan that rolls in  proposed improvements for the home.  Kind of like a construction loan but a bit different.

So, the next time you look at a house and it's almost perfect except for the red sink or the wallpaper consider your financing options.   A loan like the 203K Streamline loan may make the difference between walking away and the home of your dreams.
