San Ramon Home Sales Activity thru February 2013

Sellers must be happy. There was a significant gain in sales prices thru the month of February 2013  as compared to February 2012. A 16% gain in average sales prices for single family detached homes.

That is a big jump in prices over last year. The gain is attributed to more homes in the $1,000,000 price range selling.

Other San Ramon Stats for the February

  • 73 New Listings ranging in price from $439,900 to $2,250,000
  • 31 homes went under contract - ranging in price from $499,000 to $1,299,900
  • 28 Closed Sales ranging in price from $521,000 to $1,728,000

As can be noted, less and less foreclosures and short sales are a part of the sales activity. Equity sales are leading the market now.
