Absentee Ballots for Special Election

Absentee Ballots for Special Election --- The Marshfield Mariner

Rsidents may vote by absentee ballot from Monday, November 7th to Friday, November 18th at noon at the Marshfield Town Clerk's office at Town Hall.  Hours for voting are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and until 7 p.m. on Monday evenings when Town Hall is open.

There is one questin on the ballot about funding approval for a new high school. 

The election will be held on Saturday, November 19th at the Furnace Brook Middle School gymnasium.  Polls will be open that day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

In order for the election to take place, the Massachusetts School Building Authority must approve the plan submitted by the Marshfield new building committee at its meeting November 16th.  Special Town Meeting must then approve the article by  2/3 majority vote on Thursday, November 17th.
