Alberta Arts - People moving to Portland are going to love the fact that a city promotes local art and creativity.

The Alberta Arts district in Northeast Portland Oregon, is one of Portland's more creative and eclectic neighborhoods. People moving to Portland are going to love the fact that a city like ours will flaunt and promote the publics creative side. Like the Hawthorne district, The Alberta drag is full of great locally owned shops, restaurants, art galleries, coffee houses, bars and brew pubs that line the main street.

Every last Thursday of each month. Alberta St. turns into a public sidewalk art show with booths that line the street from NE 14th to NE 31st. Alberta arts is one of Portland’s most culturally diverse neighborhoods, and starting in the 1990’s, a major revitalization of both residential and commercial buildings, resulting in rapidly rising property values.
