Yesterday was my usual Rossmoor Marketing meeting at 8:30 AM
Only one agent presented a new listing which we went to see.Â The model was a Sierra.Â All Sierraâ€™s have someone above.Â This one was an end unit with only 6 very easy steps to the front.Â It was three steps, then walk way, and three more steps.Â This home features 1,401 sq. ft that had been totally remodeled by the owners.Â I mean granite counters, new cabinets, stainless steel appliances, eat-in kitchen, no pop corn, on and on.Â There is a garage and carport, plus a back yard.Â All in all a delightful location and home for $460,000.Â The other two homes we saw were a Carmel that featured 1,157 sq. ft. 2 bedrooms/2 bathroom (both w/stall showers) and an updated kitchen for $248,000.
Â And another Sierra but not updated and a noisier location for $335,000.Â
Everything else were repeats of homes that have been on the market.Â Prices are coming down in Rossmoor like everywhere else.Â It is the homes that sparkle and are priced right that are selling.
The Saturday Flea Market is April 4th from 9 AM to 2 PM in the Fireside and Oak Rooms.Â Some of the nearby studios will be open also.Â There will be over 60 vendors and groups selling all sorts of things at prices designed to get them sold fast. As an example,
