Buyer Lead from Trulia

Who says that blogging doesn't work? Who says you need to be incognito? Just be yourself have fun, share what's important to you, how you handle your business, and allow people to be themselves. All this and sure enough, last night we received a call from a potential buyer.
She told us that her husband had received a excellent job offer at the new steel plant being constructed here in Alabama. She also told us that he has been driving all night and wanted to preview some homes before his interview.  We also asked her how she found out about us, and she said "I was on Trulia and read about you guys and thought to myself, I'll give them a call and let them know what we need, and what our intentions are." So we continued diplomatically of course to ask even more questions, and listened a lot to there wants and needs. We asked thought provoking questions, as we determined together what is most important to them. By doing so, we were not focusing on ourselves, but focusing on their particular needs, areas, likes, dislikes. We went as far as asking about their children, and about their pets. We then begin the search process and email homes in 3 groups. #1 Daphne, Al area, then #2 Spanish Fort Area then #3 Fairhope Area. We sent last night about 35 total, and when we got us a checked our email, behold she had a list of about 12 homes that interested her. You see we do not get overly consumed when we send homes for them to preview over the Internet. We just tell them to "Sift" through the homes, and tell us the MLS number's on the homes that are most appealing to them.
And sure enough at 8am this morning we met our Buyer (the husband) and showed him 7 homes in 2 1/2 hours. All through this he was on the phone talking to his wife, explaining what he was looking at, describing the areas and both were getting exicted about the process and the potential. Well, this afternoon, we'll find out if they will be able to move forward. We are thankful to have a sounding board like Trulia to be able to convey information.
Even more we are just very thankful so blessed to have the opportunity to be that "Helpful Realtor" for buyers, as well as sellers. So if there are any other buyers out there looking to move, or even sell a home in the Daphne, Spanish Fort Area, give us a call, we would be honored to be of service.
